Me when reading there are lots of difficulty sliders:

So unlike most sweaty gamers, I HATE having to retry hundreds of times on the same boss fight or section and see absolutely no point in all the pain just for 5 seconds of dopamine.

I was kinda curious about Mina, but upon reading its another souls-adjacent retryfest really turned me off. that is until I read that there is an amazingly big suite of accessibility settings and difficulty options.

I am getting a little old now and just do not have the patience nor time for extremely difficult games like Hollow Knight and Elden Ring. I adore both said games dearly for everything they do but the difficulty is an extreme dealbreaker for me. I'm glad Mina is at least going to be engaging for me because I'm not hardstuck on hard bosses for hours.

Say what you will about the difficulty sliders, I may play this game day one solely because they exist. Just great to have a fun, engaging exploration and combat game like ER but with being able to actually progress without insane amounts of frustration and retries.

Thoughts on Tokyo from Forza Horizon 6? Is it big enough to fit a series of Midnight Club-inspired races in there via EventLab IYO? I know Guanajuato wasn't.

So in FH5, I tried making a series of Midnight Club-inspired races solely in Guanajuato in EventLab. Sadly it just wasn't big enough and I was very limited with what I could achieve. roads were linear-af and had no real potential for skirmishing nor shortcuts.

They were basically street races with far-away checkpoints to scramble to with no designated linear-route, authentically Midnight Club. I wanna try again in FH6's EventLab because the city is promisingly big, not huge but seemingly bigger than MCLA's map, probs barely. I wanna make a big-ish chronological set of races, probably 30 or so that span across tokyo, maybe pretend barriers where later races have more and more of tokyo. maybe some unordered ones? if possible at all.

thoughts? I've been clamouring for the return of Midnight Club so this is probably a great way to reminisce it.

OK Ram mains, you win... its not just Reddit that loves him. 26x more likes than the others on X.

Crazy disparity between the skins engagement on X, I thought it was just a Reddit thing that Ram is so beloved with thousands literally begging on their knees for more skins. This contest's results and the fact Ram ratio'ing every other skin from the contest almost thirty-fold means Ram's gotta get more skins right?

To those going to the Protest nationwide today, godspeed!

So in about 5 minutes, the protest at State Library in Melbourne to save the NDIS is kicking off, to those going to that or any others throughout the country, I really appreciate it. As a fellow NDIS Participant, I'm hoping the turnout is as huge as it can be and that it'll get the attention of the Albanese government

Unfortunately, I won't be able to go as loud shouting, cheering crowds are a huge sensory trigger for me to get set off with anxiety. One of the main reasons for being on NDIS is my massive aversion to crowd noises as well as autism. I currently live in an SIL and will probably be homeless without it and NDIS. I wish I could go to this protest but its going to be way too much for me, but good on ya all who are going, keep fighting the good fight!

How bleak is it actually for new enthusiast-focused cars here?

Hi! So, with SUVs being the main consumer vehicles now, I am a bit scared for the future of cars that are fun-to-drive and enthusiast-driven.

I am still on my learners after 8 years because I live in an inner-city suburb and was only interested in buying a car as a hobby. Here's the thing, I know cars from the 90s and 2000s are best to buy as enthusiasts, not only for their price but I'm hearing murmurs that these will be all we'll have in the next decade because new car buyer are literally only looking for SUVs and Utes. and it kind of soured me from buying a nice enthusiast car if there is no future for them.

I'm coping with saying to myself that in terms of new cars we'll have just SUVs/Utes and enthusiast cars, with the latter being for hobbyists to keep going with the culture.

I wanna know, are we in for new cars totally phasing out the enthusiast audience in the next decade? Will I actually be stuck with cars from before 2010 if I want something fun to drive? Can someone CMV? I'm just really concerned and want to have this hobby of having a fun car to drive and tune a bit but I have no motivation if there's no future for the hobby?

imo they have now surpassed WAN for... scientific workflows. done a couple of videos alongside a concept lora i made for LTX2.3, and they work superbly. Especially Eros.

10Eros works quite great for I2V and is focused for it with a specific workflow (as described in the HF page), Sulphur 2 is both I2V and T2V

ENJOY!! ❤️ BIG thank you to Kwiv and Tenstrip, we love you ❤️

hello! i need some advice, so I love Overwatch for its incredible worldbuilding, characters and skins, maps, gunplay etc. but after spending 10 years playing increasingly on and off I have come to the conclusion:

I do not enjoy the game itself, getting steamrolled affects my mental health way too much, I’m always frustrated when opponents are killing me constantly, the odd “close-match” is basically the only time I am having fun. even rolling the other team makes me feel bad for them.

I spent years in stockholm syndrome and sunk-cost fallacy trying to get any enjoyment out of the team-game but I think its just not going to happen. i learnt how to make my own single player modes in Workshop, which is basically abandoned anyway, I’ve tried playing lots of other custom modes and they kinda bore me.

I feel what I DO enjoy in Overwatch is just staring at my skins and exploring the maps alone, sometimes with bots to shoot. i absolutely adore collecting skins, even as a monetary purchase but the problem is, what do I do with such skins? stare at them in the hero gallery?

what should I do in this scenario? should I just quit and move on or just buy skins and explore the maps and shoot things? im scared that it will be a waste of money to do the latter but I genuinely enjoy those. otherwise, I am playing lots of FFXIV atm so I may just let it go? not sure

so i started doing street photography, and also got permission from a few people to get portraits, and car photos. only 1 portrait subject out of 3 turned out great (pics 2 and 3). out of the 48 photos ive taken, 40 of those were duds, but im very happy with the ones i did get. good first roll i think, definitely got some things to improve tho.

I’m gonna be really doomy here, sorry guys but I was discussing this with Claude and he came to the conclusion that in terms of new car buyers (at least in Australia, where I am from), 80% of new cars bought are Utility vehicles, SUVs and trucks.

Obviously SUVs arent fit for racing games but when we look at reality here, the car enthusiast hobby is dead. Electrification, phasing out of petrol, the price of cars being unaffordable for a Sunday driver, all these things factor into that cars as a hobby instead of a necessary device to get from a-b, is dead.

Racing games unfortunately, are never gonna return to its former glory whether we like it or not. Kids and millenials are just not interested in cars. The people that are, are mostly buying older cars from the 2000s and below. Because thats all we will have outside of SUVs and trucks.

Again, sorry for being a bit doom and gloom, im just concerned. 😟
