Is there any similar myths in other cultures? Maybe Greek,Roman Babylonian or Egyptian?

Ever since I graduated high school, I’ve wanted to eventually work in a policy-advising role, whether that’s at a think tank, royal court, government institution, etc.
My first few years of college were pretty rough. I spent my high school years in a middle eastern boarding school, moved back to the U.S., and developed a lung condition that caused me severe insomnia and hypnophobia. Later, I returned to the Middle East ( getting doctor appointments are both cheaper and quicker there where), I suffered third-degree burns on my leg.

I was initially advised to pursue a BA in Mathematics and Economics, but I’m now on track to graduate next June with a BA in Accounting from a middle eastern uni.

I’m interested in eventually pursuing graduate-level economics or accounting, but I’m realizing that many graduate programs expect applicants to have a fairly substantial background in mathematics and statistics. At least that’s what the consensus on Reddit seem to be. From what I’ve seen, this can include courses such as Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Probability/Statistics, Econometrics, differential equations and sometimes Real Analysis or other advanced math.

My question is: how would someone in my position go about taking these courses in the U.S. after graduating?

On the days I have uni in the morning I wake up early. In the days I sleep an extra hour or too and my sleep schedule adjusts from there. How do I stop doing that?

I have two main issues with sticking to diets. The first being I love eating and making food. The second being I make my food related decisions the moment I am hungry.

I usually cook my chicken with rice. However, I’m trying to lose weight, and potatoes are lower in calories. Typically, I would sear the chicken and then add the rice, tiny noodles, and raisins, along with water. The total cooking time is about 15 minutes of searing and 25 minutes of simmering with the rice.

If I were to sear the chicken in a pan and then bake it with potatoes in the oven instead, how would this affect the cooking time? Also should I cook the potatoes before hand or leave them until after I’m done searing the chicken. What temperature should I put my oven on?
