Bernie Wrightson 2

I got a good response from my earlier post of a Bernie Wrightson interview from earlier in his career. Here's one from 98, this time. Full transparency, I haven't read this one yet and I'm not sure if technique comes up ...this is the full interview from the magazine, but there's a bunch of interviews with his contemporaries after the interview, all focused on their involvement in Bernie's career. If you want more just ask for more from this particular magazine, and I recommend ebaying "comic book profiles...every issue features a different important figure in comics

Stan Drake

I know old photorealistic strips aren't everyone's bag, so here's two separate articles about Stan Drake: in essay he wrote about living abroad, and an interview... both from cartoonist PROfiles

Gianni de Luca

Here's an artist who isn't published in English (that I know of) I think frank Miller used some of his ideas in Alektra lives again

Note that Barry Windsor-smith gave less pessimistic answers to questions he would later answer in his trademark douchey way
