why does talking on the phone feel like a chore to me

Im not a big texter either because I feel its only good for a quick update with friends or some light quick jokes and memes and links to share.

But I feel like phone is the best way to communicate with friends, but recently it just been feeling like a chore.

I used to be able to talk to my friends and they like to talk for long like 3 hours at a time and one of my freinds just likes to stay on the phone even if we are not talking.

But these past few months I find myself not like talking on the phone at all. Is this just a burn out? I dread when my freinds call me and sometimes I try to push through and answer but the first 15 minutes I feel like my brain is working hard trying to come up with things to say and trying to also sound nice and entertaining because sometimes I feel like Im a source of their entertainment.

Another one of my male freinds likes to have deep conversations that requires me to think hard and sometimes I just dont feel like thinking.

I just want to watch something where my mind can just listen and relax on my friend time.

The weird part is I don't have a lot of friends and I do get lonely and I am afraid of losing freinds because I havent been answering but I guess im not desperate enough to force myself to have a conversation.

Im 35 if that matteres maybe its because im getting older even though I'm from the generation that connects more with phone conversations than text.

Or maybe its just because all my freinds and even my cousin and brother like to talk on phone for 3 hours at least when we talk.

how to deal with fandom cyber bullying

How to deal with kpop fandom cyber bullying and parasocialism?

I thought I asked just in case someone might deal with this in the future or already dealing with this and don't know what to do.

Recently a fan harmed herself because of a mix of kpop fandom cyber bullying and parasocialism. 😔 She had a complaint about an idol she was following around on tour and fans bullied her so badly because of it even after she apologized.

Im worried this will happen again. 🥺 And want to help and warn others. I thought I asked just im case someone might deal with this in the future or already dealing with this and don't know what to do.

Personal I dont care what kpop fand say about me online. I posted a video about a opinion about a kpop group I had a few years ago and that video went viral (reached a million and more) but not in a good way it was a ton of bad hate comments. I was angry and annoyed and argued with people on the internet for a bit until I realized its just a waste if time and those people dont really care as much as you think. Once they write those comments they go on with their normal life and forget about it in a few weeks. So I just stopped arguing and blocked comments and life went on as usual.

I also realize these kpop idols dont know me and I dont know them so the reality is they dont care about me. So I just use kpop as a fun hobby like I do sports and leave it at that that.

The unfortunately reality if you harm yourself over kpop fandom bullying you are not hurting your "enemies" they may talk about it for a week or two but will go on with thier lives. The person you are only harming is yourself by cutting your life short and family and freinds that actual care about you. They will be effected forever.

Even the idols themselves dont care as much as you think but will more concerned if their careers will take a hit because of the "drama".

This how I feel about it, but doesn't anyone have some advice on handling kpop fandom cyber bullying and parasocialism so this won't happen again. Its very sad 😔

men would be mad if your wife did not want to take your last name

Would you be mad if your wife wanted to keep her own last name instead of taking on the husbands or hyphenate it and keep her and his.

This guy said if he wife didnt want to take his last name or keep both their names then he will hyphenate the bills, protection and provision from her too (saying hes only going to do 50 percent of that too). He also says it means shes trying to show that she has the bigger dick in the relationship whatever that means.

But she says because of her career she wants to keep her last name or at least hyphenate it.

bts at the metlife stadium from fifa halftime show to performing concert at same stadium

BTS at MetLife: From the FIFA halftime show to headlining sold-out concerts at the same stadium.

Anyone else think this is a pretty cool full-circle moment?

BTS's last appearance at MetLife Stadium was for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final halftime show, where they performed in front of a massive global audience.

Now, just a couple of weeks later, they're returning to the same stadium but this time it's own concert.

Their ARIRANG World Tour concerts at MetLife on August 1 and 2 have drawn enormous demand, with reports that the shows sold out quickly.

There's something symbolic about that:

⚽ FIFA halftime: sharing the stage with other global stars during one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

MetLife concerts: tens of thousands of fans coming specifically to see BTS.

It's almost like they left MetLife as part of a historic event... and came right back to make the stadium theirs. 😊

What do you think about this full circle moment?

grammy chief issued a statement saying he is sad to hear bts won't submit to the grammy

What are your thoughts about this?

Grammy Chief ‘Saddened to Hear’ That BTS Won’t Submit for 2027 Awards

Grammy CEO Harvey Mason jr. has issued a statement in response to BTS’ decision not to submit for the 2027 awards, which the K-Pop superstars announced on Wednesday, in an effort to clarify that the launch of a Best Asian Pop category was not intended to sideline K-Pop artists.

“I am saddened to hear that BTS has chosen not to participate in the Grammy Awards process this year, but as a music creator, I understand and respect their decision,” Mason wrote.“

"I do want to clarify something that seems to be getting lost in the conversation. The Asian Pop category was created to celebrate the depth, diversity and extraordinary growth of pop artistry coming out of Asia. The spirit of this new category is to shine a dedicated spotlight on these important artists. More categories mean more artists’ work is recognized. It’s never to divide, but to expand who is recognized by our 15,000 Grammy voters.

“I also want to be very clear: submitting music in a genre category such as Asian Pop, or Jazz or Country does not exclude an artist from also submitting and being considered in the General Field categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year,” he continued. “Those categories remain open to any eligible recording, regardless of genre. Recognition in a genre category and recognition in the General Field are not mutually exclusive. An artist can absolutely pursue both.”

All seven members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – posted the same statement on their individual instagram accounts.

What are your thoughts about this?

why do people expect jungkook not date when those same fans date other men

Ok im a Jungkook bias but he's 28 and I don't expect him not date and live his life.

People want Jungkook to be loyal to his fans and not date but I guarantee those same 28 year old fans (older and younger) are dating other men. If it's about loyalty then why does it have its have to be one sided. Why don't the fans also not date and stay single to be loyal to Jungkook.

I think Jungkook said army his girlfriend one time but its not serious and love I Jungkook will post videos and pictures for fun and I'll joke around and say things like he's my "baby daddy" but in real life you better believe I'm going out on real dates with other men. And I expect the same for Jungkook

could be bts still submit and win in the regular category for the grammy

I'm not saying BTS is not doing the right thing by choosing to not submit for Grammys. But I'm still a little bit confused and curious. Couldn't they just have submitted for the "regular "categories for the Grammys and still won? I think a lot of their songs didn't quality for "asian only categories " because a lot BTS songs in the Arirang album was in English including Swim which was all English lyrics.

Excuse me and my apologies if this is an ignorant question 😅

why is bts not submitting for the grammy

Jungkook just posted

"We have decided not to submit our music for the Grammy Awards this year.

We hope that music will be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being categorized by region or language.

Thank you to ARMY and to everyone who is always with us and supports us."

Im shocked why are they not submitting at all? Will they also not perform or attend?

what happens of a kpop star get pregnant

Out of all the girl groups I've never seen since 2009 not one pregnancy and I think its strange. Do you ever wonder if they hide pregnancies? What happens if a kpop star were even to get pregnant?

is it bad I have a secret fantasy of a guy being aggressive with me in bed ?

Like push me on the bed and being a bit forceful. Maybe even slap me a little. Do I need therapy? I dont mean bondage and tied up completely well maybe just the hands. But i feel like this isnt right but cant explain why.

Do I have internal issues I need to dig up

Is this even safe to do in real life?

how bad is it extracting tooth 18 if i cant afford an implant

My crown came off at tooth 18 and was told It wasnt enough tooth structure for a new crown. I dont have enough money for an implant but im worried losing tooth 18 will make it hurt to chew on the left side and also make my teeth shift and crook and make the opposing tooth grow long and hit the gum of missing tooth 18 causing pain.

why do male friends get so jealous of me being a fan of jungkook

I can kind of understand if I had a boyfriend but I'm single. When I share my interests and hobbies with male friends everything is fine until I mention BTS and then say my bias is Jungkook and they start saying weird stuff. One of them keeps calling them Chinese boys when I keep telling him they are korean (not that there is a problem being chinese).

Another male friend said weird thing about Jungkook and called him a chink. He seemed like a nice guy until he said that and I lost respect for him.

Another guy started making fun of the way they look and said something rude about them being asian and their sexuality but he wasnt a close freind of mine more of an acquaintance but it was still shocking.

Its not like I know Jungkook personally so I didnt think it was that serious that I was a fan but I think im about lose freinds over BTS and Jungkook and I dont even know them. Im just getting frustrated.

Why some men get so triggered by BTS?

My female freinds seem chill about BTS even if they are not a fan.

is it cool that the same stadium bts performed at fifa is the same stadium bts will do a concert

The next time we see BTS again will literally be at the same Met Life Stadium except it will be a full concert sold out full of fans. How cool is that?
