Theres still so much ive yet to be able to do and I wanna 100% everything but those stupid time limits screw up everything by forcing me to do story missions and god I cant wait till someone makes a mod that just disables campaign mission timers. I wanna play around with different squads and team comps but the game forces you to just take your best team pretty much and pretty much hardlines you into using the campaign characters exclusively and its just...

So many roadblocks for such an issue that just didnt need to exist., I dont understand who thought this was a good idea—

specifically, the two small lasers at the base of the neck and the two canons in the indents at the side where they come stock

idk why, ive been trying to get this to work, ive tried damn near every combination, but it just doesnt want to. it either puts the lasers at the base of the neck and the indent guns get put into the side torso small ones or it puts the indent canons in the indent but the lasers for whatever reason then go to the sides of the neck despite the groove at the neck base still being open and present.

p.s you can ignore the smaller guns at the sides of the torso, (though i do wish you could actually configure the annihilator that way, i just never bothered to edit those out of the picture)

I have no idea what they use to determine prices for things but this math aint mathing.

Its difficult to describe exactly why, but I really love blaze as a character, and I find it sad she is either under utilized or more often then not used as a side character in another characters story despite feeling like she strikes a perfect balance for an amazing protagonist and hero in her own right.

Shes just... cool. Shes calm, collected yet able to dish out punishment when the time calls but shes not potrayed as an all powerful Mary Sue like a lot of female characters fall into the trap of.

Shes royalty but she doesnt flaunt that. She acts more like a guardian in both manner and activity. She's a badass but doesnt act like shes better then everyone else. Shes not a girl boss type character.

She also admits when she needs help or makes a mistake, shes honest and doesnt take shame in the fact that she can make mistakes so much so that she does when said mistakes happen, not because of others but because she views it as a failure on her own part for not being wiser. She looks inwards instead of out.

And even if she does occasionally embarrass herself by not quite being use to more... commoner type customs, shes still willing to attempt to partake in them opposed to thinking shes to good for it.

Simply put, I find she personifies the idea of "grace" perfectly. Humble yet determined. Elegent yet down to earth. Serious yet kind. Shes a natural born leader and it shows.

Again, its difficult to explain exact details when it comes to a character like this because at face value, her personality can seem very basic and uninteresting simply because shes dignified and keeps herself well mannered best she can, but the more you peel back, the more you see that shes genuinely not someone who isnt without flaws and shes open to admitting that so she can better not only herself but the lives of those around her, shes not afraid to show quirks even if she can be embarrassed by it if that makes sense.

Idk. Blaze is just different. Usually you look at a character and can be attracted to them for a variety of reasons, bombastic personality or simple appearence. Yet I dont really find blaze to be outspoken or attractive in a traditional sense. When I view her, Im reminded more of the sense of beauty and awe you get when you watch a performance similar to a ballet. The attraction comes from a place of awe in grace opposed to a place of physical or emotional desire. Shes just... cool. Thats the best way I can think to put it. Shes a cool character and a really good role model.

Metal Sonic will always be my favorite sonic character, blaze taking second for that. But in terms of overall favorite female characters or just characters in general, she certainly makes the top 5 if not top 3 for me. She definitely deserves to have more recognition by segas and writers and development team.

Pun not entirely intended, but still. I love how raw and gutteral his performance is. You can tell hes having fun or at the least putting his heart into making a character you can genuinely feel the malice, venom and hatred had for his enemies, almost like his very voice itself is trying to reach out to strangle the life out of the nearest tyranid and watch the life fade from its eyes with a grim, practically sadistic satisfaction on its face

Its hard to describe it exactly as im not entirely educated on how to properly describe voice acting or the correct terms for it, but regardless, he did an amazing job and just listening to decimus talk is such a treat compared to the other marines which while sounding like marines they dont quite make it sound like theyre actually in the thick of battle with adrenaline flooding their systems like Babalola does. It just feels a lot more real then a simple performance if that makes sense. The others you can get the feeling they're voice actors are in a soundbooth and not really showing signs of how physically and mentally taxing a situation in game would be, even for a super soldier. Decimus however feels like the most natural and organic character in the roster with how he delivers his lines and sounds.

Its raw, unfiltered, imperfect and overcome with emotion thus it feels far more organic and real opposed to the others which sound more... heroic and manufactured. Routine. Thats not to diss the other voice actors, they do great jobs at making the marines sound like how you think a space marine would sound. Its noble yet authorative. Calm yet intimidating, like someone who is fully capable of killing you in an instant if the mission called for it or you show signs of betrayal or disrespect but not going to go out of their way to do so if uncalled for. Again, hard to explain. I just think decimus really nailed those moments of feeling that mix of factors in his voice during combat.

I think the closest one that comes to decimus would be Quartus voiced by Inel Tomlinson and maybe Telorian voiced by Mike Bodie but thats harder to tell if thats him or the voice filter. Regardless, Its funny how something as little as hearing that growl in his yell when preforming a heavy attack can make things feel more real to how they actually would be in those high intensity scenarios.

jumping spider girl, i love her, shes adorable and i wanna give her a hug and a cookie. also her eyes light up when shes attacking which is a pretty neat detail

maybe just cause im a sucker for golem/robot esc looking creatures. also i like how it almost looks like a construct built by the ancient civilization in the game with all the blue linings on it

spartan eagle. is there really more i have to say? that concept alone is metal as hell

i like how it shares similarities to Jetragon who in the palpedia, says its supposedly hunting. the lore connections are neat and just overall i like how sharp it looks, even if i do think its someodd out of place when compared to the other Xeno pals

jester bunny. the fact that the ears are made to resemble the hat jesters traditionally wear is such a neat detail.

its so pretty and i love how it resembles a lotus flower, especially when it sleeps and it curls itself up in a way that looks like an unbloomed/closed version of said flower

its adorable. really thats it. its squishy and soft and its ears flick in its idle animation, i love my ferret dragon weasel kobald thing. also shoutout to Chillet Ignis which the devs sadly missed the opportunity to call 'Grillit"

sick ass sea monster. i like the sharpness of the 'scale' plating along its body and how it resembles how some fish have a more sharper carapace to protect against predators. though i am admittedly concerned about what this thing considers a predator to warrant such an evolutionary design.

she's just really pretty. i like how the design on her dress resembles a night sky and how her head flowers glow blue. i do kinda wish they leaned more into the stary sky aspect of said dress and made it almost like a flowing starscape but thats a general issue i have with the pal alt types just generally being simple recolors of the original pals instead of actual variations based on typing.

They're just so cute looking and/or cool and the way they design a lot of the feminine pals are just super pretty. I love how lyleen noct's dress looks like stars in the night sky and how ophydia turns into a lotus flower when it sleeps and quivern looks so soft and huggable, chillet makes my heart melt, and how duplins ears mimic a jester hat is such a cool idea for a rabbit themed design, just...
