Best blaster for beginners?

Mostly since my neighbors' kids have some of those themselves, and I wanted to get one out of curiosity.

Specifically, I need two blasters: a manual one to get the feel for things, and an automatic one to blast away.

I'm living in France, in case that's of any help.

How common are naming conventions?

As in, a group of people whose names are derived from a group of objects. Here are the ones I managed to remember:

  • Saiyans - Vegetables - Raditz and Kakarot
  • The Briefs - Underwear - Bulma and Panchy
  • Orange Star Students - School Furniture - Erasa and Rulah
  • Guide Angels - Alcoholic Drinks - Whis and Vados

Good starter collection?

Mostly since I wanted Skylanders that are the strongest of their element, to better get through the games. Here's my lineup so far:

  • Cores
    • Earth - Prism Break
    • Fire - Flameslinger
    • Undead - Chop Chop
    • Water - Gill Grunt (Jet Pack)
    • Life - Stealth Elf
    • Magic - Double Trouble (Magic Wand*)*
    • Air - Whirlwind
    • Tech - Drobot (Laser Eye)
    • Light - Spotlight
    • Dark - Blackout
  • Swappers
    • Earth - Rubble Rouser (Dig)
    • Fire - Blast Zone (Rocket)
    • Undead - Rattle Shake (Bounce)
    • Water - Wash Buckler (Climb*)*
    • Life - Stink Bomb (Sneak)
    • Magic - Hoot Loop (Teleport)
    • Air - Free Ranger (Spin)
    • Tech - Magna Charge (Speed)

I didn't include the Giants since I'm gonna buy them all. I'm gonna do the same for the other special teams, so that I can have one member per element.

P.S. 1 - For the SuperChargers, I try keeping the one-per-element thing, but with an equal amount of Land, Sea and Air Vehicles.

P.S. 2 - Since I'm on PS3, I don't have access to Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser. However, I still want to buy them so that my collection stays consistent across systems, in case I play SuperChargers on Cemu.

Is it just me, or am I the only one who thinks Storm 1 is the best?

Mostly because I liked the mechanics, how missions worked, and it's also the only game to have a fully explorable Konoha map (and no, Storm 2 doesn't because maps are segmented and with fixed cameras).

The latter especially is what drew me to the game, as you can practically jump from roof to roof, trying to find secret ingredient bags and treasure chests, not to forget the scrolls you can exchange for support jutsu. I mean, yeah it may only cover Part I, but that at least makes the roster more manageable.

Should I buy 1404 History as my first Anno game?

I'm not too big on RTS games, so it's mostly to see how the Anno games play like. I also thought about 1404 specifically as I heard it's the perfect entry point for beginners.

Judgment-style tailing mission?

Mostly to see if it would be possible, for example for a sidequest. Basically, you need to follow a target, but you need to stay hidden. If the target spots you, a gauge will fill, and if that gauge is full, you need to restart from the latest checkpoint. I thought about using a custom route, with the targets stopping at specific spots. Here are several examples of target types:

  • Normal - Horseplayer Detective, Chapter 1 - Stops at pre-determined points, turning around seldomly to moderately.
  • Careful - Higashi, Chapter 3 - Same as a Normal-type target, but whenever they stop, it's always to look behind them.
  • Guarded - Higashi II, Chapter 10 - The target is protected by several underlings, who look behind on their behalf. Depending on the length, a checkpoint is made whenever an underling leaves.
  • Skittish - Ishimatsu, Chapter 12 - Same as a Careful-type target, but they turn around much more frequently and can even double back on occasions.

In case it helps, I was trying to use the Visustella Encounter Effects to see if it can work.

Full episodes of Tousouchuu

I've wanted to watch the series as of late, but I'm not sure where I could watch full episodes.

I'm looking for two starting points: either episode 13 since that's where the playing field began being themed, or episode 16 due to the lore being first established there.

"Do" and "Have" equivalent of "de aru"

Sorry if I'm botching anything without wanting to, but if I remember correctly, "de aru" and "de wanai" are keigo (as in, highly formal or archaic speech) for "to be". I was wondering out of curiosity if it exists for "to have" and "to do" as well.

Most balanced style between the Five Forms?

This is because I'm planning on creating an RPG, and the first five classes are modeled after the Five Forms. I wanted to ask which of these Five Forms is seen as the most balanced in terms of offense and defense. As a reminder, the Five Forms are:

  • South China Tiger
  • Fujian White Crane
  • Indochinese Leopard
  • Fanged Snake
  • Southern Dragon

Question for Momotarou Dentetsu

What would you consider the best Momtarou Dentetsu game for beginners to get their hands on? Assuming this is for games after the series became a Monopoly-like board game.

Best game for beginners?

Mostly so that I can make a TAS out of it to see how far I can go, and also since I'm playing the games on the plaza for the first time. I will still need some Play Coins to get through efficiently, but oh well.

A few things I might want to clarify:

  1. I have all DLC, since I homebrewed my 3DS to download them through HShop.
  2. My initial pick is Market Crashers, since it seems mechanically simple and deep, and also has companies inspired by other plaza games as a nice Easter Egg.

Good idea to get the remaining games?

Mostly since I have 0 and all three Kiwamis on my PS4. With the release of Stranger than Heaven, I doubt there will be any more games coming on the system, so I thought about getting at least the Kiryu Saga out of the way, which means buying the the 4 and 5 remasters and 6.

Having the Judgement duology under my belt would sound nice as well.

Using Miis from Mii Maker for StreetPass Plaza?

Not sure if I can post this here, but is it alright to talk about CFW here?

If so, can I use the Miis I made in Mii Maker to play games at the StreetPass Plaza? I'm worried that I don't have anyone with a 3DS around my home anymore, and I don't want to walk around everywhere, knowing that the chances of getting a hit with StreetPass are next to zero.

Use Miis from Mii Maker for StreetPass Plaza?

Mostly since I'm not sure if there are any people with a 3DS around my home anymore.

Since the Mii Plaza is reliant on StreetPass so much, I don't want to walk around everywhere, hoping that someone has a 3DS, so using Miis I already have, like with the Mii Maker, would make it easier for me to play the games StreetPass Plaza offers.

Canonical Medium Route?

Mostly because we know how the easy and hard routes look like in 64. For reference, here are how those two look like:

Easy: Corneria -> Meteo -> Fichina -> Sector X -> Titania -> Bolse -> Venom I
Hard: Corneria -> Sector Y -> Aquas -> Zoness -> Sector Z -> Area 6 -> Venom II

As for me, my "canonical" medium route would be reaching Katina from Meteo, then doing the missions in the middle row before entering Area 6 from Macbeth.

WIP of my game's starting town. Used inspiration from Aspertia City for that one.

It's just the cliff on the left side that's bugging me... Just can't seem to get it right.

Few questions about Essentials

Mostly because I've recently begun using it and that I need to get worries out of the way:

  1. Is there a way to cap a Pokémon's level, then increase it once a Badge is obtained? I wanted to have eighteen Gyms, one per type.
  2. Where can I find good mugshots of Pokémon Trainers from Gen 6 onwards? This is because I wanted one for Larry, since my game's first Gym is Normal-type, though I also have Cheren as a backup if need be.

Ask Me Anything - Chihiro Fujisaki

"H-Hello... I-I'm Chihiro Fujisaki... Some friends told me I c-can answer questions here, so I hope I can d-do my best... So...p-please, go ahead..."

FYI, this version uses Chihiro's appearance in both UTDP and S, and I also throw in the Hundred Line characters due to me headcanoning them as a separate Danganronpa class. This means that he knows both the V3 and anime characters as well as those from Hundred Line, so go nuts!

Best games for beginners?

Mostly because I was about to play around with a game called "Yoshi's Fabrication Station", a game on Level Share Square that allows you to create and play your own Yoshi levels in the style of the SNES game.

For reference, I have a modded 3DS, meaning I have access to DS, New Island and the Woolly World remaster, but I wouldn't mind emulating the older games on BizHawk if need be.
