I got a new 3080 to upgrade from my 1060 and the pcie cable will not fit. The 3080 needs 2 pcie cables, the one I was using for my 1060 splits into two separate ones. One of them literally does not slide all the way into the 3080. Neither port. It works just fine with the 1060, but with the 3080 it goes half way and basically hits a wall. However, the other pcie cable works just fine on both ports. I dont understand how a cable can fit into the 1060 no problem but not fit into the 3080 no matter what I do. But I know the 3080 isnt the problem because I can get the other cable to work no problem on both ports. I’m completely lost. What should’ve been a simple plug and play has turned into a huge headache

The ads for cfa have been so insanely insufferable for years now. The stupid ass fake testimonials with that horrible jingle was bad enough. Now theyre just ugly dance videos with music that I’m almost convinced is AI generated. The ranch song was the worst thing to ever enter my ears and the pimento one isn’t any better. When I was a kid cfa did commercials centered around cows and the ‘eat mor chiken’ joke and that was more than fitting for the brand. The only reason the commercials keep getting worse is because their food is genuinely good and people just ignore them. If they were a struggling business those commercials would just deter people even further. They’re so horrible I’m genuinely pissed off. I prefer the incredibly unfunny insurance commercials over this slop

My current budget is 700 or less, I could maybe make an exception if a more expensive tv is on a really good discount. I’m looking for a 55” for my room and my current pick is a TCL QM6K. I’m looking for something that pairs well with a PS5.

Also if theres any TVs that tend to drop a lot in price during sales then I wouldn’t mind waiting.

If you watch almost any GTA 6 youtube video, they will talk about patents and claim that they’re in some way proof of unannounced features.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, Take Two has a few patents filed that talk about technologies not currently used in any of their games. Things like generative interiors and very dynamic NPC animations, interactions, and appearances. These are just a few of them.

However, I don’t think this guarantees these features will be in the game. A lot of content creators talk about the patents as if they are confirmed features. They’re Take Two patents, not rockstar patents. They can be used for any game under take two, not just gta 6. They don’t even have to be used unfortunately. I don’t think we should count on all of these to be included into the game. Maybe they were all filed with GTA 6 in mind, and maybe in early development they were able to get them to work, but that doesn’t guarantee they work now in the full game with all of its demanding details and content.

I’d love to see every one of these patents used for the game because they really are incredible, I just don’t think we should fully expect to see them in the final release.

Let me know what you guys think, maybe I’m missing some details.

I’ve been looking for a mini led tv for gaming and I noticed the U7 is 50% off or more basically everywhere. Is there any specific reason? Can anyone recommend these tvs?

Mark my words the moment the game releases people in this sub will immediately search for things to complain about. Its like everyone here desperately wants to be angry and unhappy. Don’t forget the constant systemic oppression complex posts. Some of you people are genuinely spending your day whining about a 6 hour exclusivity for a trailer. When half of that time is during the most common work hours of the day. If you don’t want to give up a few bucks to watch the trailer, then wait 20 minutes for a youtube reaction to drop.

Multiple times now I’ve seen posts of people putting in very little money into calls and they turn into 5 digit numbers. Obviously thats like getting blackjack 3 times in a row, but I still dont understand how they work? Are they more profitable than just buying shares. In 4 months this subreddit and other GTA 6 communities will be full of people discussing their experience with the game and all of their findings.
I know the schizo theories and completely fake insider information gets a lot of hate but I’ve unironically enjoyed all of it and its built a lot of anticipation for me. Following the mapping project has been very exciting as well. I’ll probably never care this much about a game release again, even if gta 7 one day releases.

Would you rather play GTA 6 at a smooth 60 FPS, or at a smooth 30 fps with more graphical and atmospheric detail, more vehicle/npc density, and a higher view distance? If the game included this option, which one would you choose?

Personally I think 30 fps is less noticeable on third person games like GTA. I also think using a controller makes it even less noticeable.
Idc about fps for story games. RDR2 was 30 fps and I thought it looked great. I didn’t even realize it was locked to 30 till half way through the story.

2003 Nissan 350z stopped blowing cold air today and its just taking in the hot air from outside. Not even a degree cooler than outside. It was blowing very cold air last time I drove it which was 3 days ago. Never dealt with an AC before so I don’t know what to expect or look for when troubleshooting.
Will it be expensive to recharge the AC? Im hoping to be able to afford taking it to a mechanic but if not I’ll just do it myself

Pre-orders released a week ago. Yet we haven’t had a trailer in almost 14 months.
I think the UE controversy is blown out of proportion but the no disc release is a really bad look. Rockstar is back to posting about RDO and GTO events that no one cares about. The only new screenshots we got look great but they don’t show the game, they only show promotional material.
The cover art reveal was a great start and it immediately fell off the next week. This blows and its nothing like the marketing for previous titles. Idk maybe it just hasn’t started yet. We’ve all been ready for more information on the actual game and we still have nothing except a cover art and close-ups of the 2 protagonists
Hopefully we get something next week.
