Muttville.org at 750 Florida Street has SO MANY CHIHUAHUAS! 97 senior dogs (age 7+) are hoping for forever homes! On top of the 83 already available, they were able to rescue 15 extra senior dogs this week from overburdened shelters and get them spayed/neutered, plus receive other medical care shelters couldn't provide. Muttville joined Champions for Pet Health, an event focused on providing essential vet care to animals across the Bay Area. Taking part in this initiative from Maddie's Fund meant that now that they're fixed up, these sweet seniors are ready. And that's where you come in!

Visit Muttville's cage-free shelter for the Smooch a Pooch event, now through May 31st. You'll meet the most charming oldies around, and qualified people can take home their new best friend for free! 

Every new guardian will also go home with a two-week supply of food courtesy of Just Food for Dogs, coupons to local pet stores to get your dog all the necessary supplies, and access to cost-effective vet resources.  

Get your lips ready for a serious smooch fest! Visit Muttville.org, Tues-Sun, from 11 AM - 4 PM. If you can't take a dog home, visitors are welcome for cuddle sessions!

Meet Slinky, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue's 14,000th dog that they saved. This all-around good boy is the winner of the recent Muttville annual gala Prom King competition, so his adoption fees have been waived!

Muttville.org brings in 20+ dogs over the age of 7 each week. Imagine 56,000 big & little paws (except for tripod dogs) all in new homes with loving families. Teddy Swims (his formal name!) survived pneumonia, which is very hard on a dog, but he is healed and ready for his forever person. His foster mom adores him!
He's a 10-year-old, 20-pound spaniel mix - a sweet, gentle, easygoing little dog with incredibly soft fur and a beautiful coat in warm shades of brown and red. He loves short walks, cozy naps, and simply being near his person—and gets so excited to see you when you come home. Who doesn't love that!? There's nothing like unconditional love.
He's become his foster's little shadow, but he'll form a bond with you, too!
