I know its just a soap opera but from a writers perspective to a regular income person...victor angry. Nick angry. Billy angry. Devon angry. Kane angry. Adam angry. ....why are these very wealthy characters always angry when they have easy soft lives! Like in their world they dont even have to work! Is it that they have too much time on their hands so thry create misery others for fun? I hope the new writers create relateable situations so i can root for a character. Example in my area in illinois we jus went through 2 tornadoes so everyone is struggling to repair their homes and cars...thats why im angry! I jus dont get how and why victor still wants jack and billy to hurt?

hi there long story short. engine hydrolocked due to driving through a puddle. Car insurance wants a LKQ engine .(another trax engine with less mileage) this would void current manufacturer warranty. i dont want this obviously. its at the dealership that i purchased from, would the dealership go along with this? i dont want this at all. i want a factory remanufactured engine if i cant get a new one. what are my odds/?

by the way i have a 2025 Trax with 9800 miles. they say they found a 6,000 miles 2025 Trax as a replacement....let me know your thoughts and what i can do to fight for a remanufactured engine or am i being unreasonable? are LKQ engines bad if the are 6,000 miles? i dont wanna regret this later. do LKQ eninges even come with warrantys?

is there somewhere in the middle that i can pay the difference? i have ALLSTATE. first claim with them i have no clue how reasonable they are....

i actually prefer they total car and move on. car has high value.

I have allstate . My car has water damage and its at service center at dealership since shops in good hands network cannot fixed car. Adjuster wants to replace engine with like new quality replacement instead of a new OEM engine. Can i do anything about it? My car is a 2025 equinox with 9,000 miles.

The replacement engine has 6,000 miles on it. Can i push for a OEM engine if my car is a 2025? All advice welcomed! 2nd adjuster will be coming to review shops estimate in 3 days. im in illinois

i filed a claim yesterday after i drove through standing water in a storm and the engine stalled. can i withdraw or pause a claim? the mechanic that saw the car says theres water damage but he has not given me any documentation. this concerns me. what would the next step be? its been over a day and he has not responded to my messages. i need this to proceed that the dealership findings are complete. i have ALLSTATE

Long story short. Drove thru standing water within seconds car sputters out wont turn back on have it towed to dealership since its close by. Service advisor says water damages are not covered by warranty call insurance asap. The look over car and say engine is hydrolocked on august 4. Next day august 5 i file claim and call dealership to let them kno but service advisor isnt returning my messages....am i jumping the gun here thinking something is up? Would a dealership service advisor have anything to gain by pushing repair to insurance over the factory warranty? Day before on august 3 he asked right away to call insurance to file claim before service looked at it because i came in saying car stalled after driving thru large puddle...should have i kept quiet about why it stalled so they could make their own assessment?

My car is at dealership service center waiting insurance approval on estimate...if its too high can insurance reject it and send me somewhere else? Btw how long can my car stay there till car insurance makes their decision? I dont want storage fees

After car stalled when i drove through water i sought out evaluation. Definitely water damage i was told yesterday by mechanic. He told me that yesterday after having car for 3 days. Is it too late to file? ? Im in illinois and i have allstate

Update on post from last 48 hours. Drove through heavy rain and through a puddle. Towed to car dealership i bought it from since it was only 3000 feet away. Dealership says service advisor says water in the intercooler, front end, throttle body, engine itself is hydrolocked.....should i expect it to be totaled? 9,500 miles, 2025 chevy equinox. Im mentally prepared for the worse.

When i drove through puddle, car turned off, no loud noise or anything. Computer turned on but engine didnt. All opinions welcomed. Service advisor hydrolocked engine will definitely need to be teplaced or repaired but u might be looking at more damage.

I took my car to the dealership i bought it from after i ran over water it stalled. They say its hydrolocked and i should call insurance. If i take ot somewhere else and the independent shop says its not hydro locked but its mechanical where does that leave me? Fight with dealership for not telling the truth? long story short...drove through a puddle. car the shut off. towed it to dealership that i purchased it nearby....i called in the morning when they opened...they asked what happened. At this point do i admit driving through the water? are they less likely to help since its not covered by dealership warranty? should i be straight forward? i contacted insurance and they say im covered for water damage as long as the dealership doesnt go overboard with costs otherwise i must take it within their network, possible towed at my cost unfortunately. first time going though this....please advise!

btw any idea how much this would cost? i literally drove though the puddle and car gives out!

the puddle was not 6 feet deep it didnt even reach the door!

I got a deep scratch 5 inches on my trunk lift. I went to a shop they quoted me 500.00 for the scratch (sanding down etc..) and for repaint on the panel its on (smaller panel area).lifetime guarantee...is this too good to be true for a deep scratch? Especially the lifetime guarantee part (I can see the white, primer in the scratch) their google reviews are very positive

Dryer was working fine then it stopped heating.....check lint trap was clogged so i cleared it. Will it work now or is there damage?
