"i aint reading allat"

(not sure what flair to put)

I GENUINELY hate it when someone writes out a well worded argument with valid points, only to get shut down by "i aint reading allat." JUST BECAUSE its slightly longer than a usual comment.

How immature does someone have to be to ACTUALLY use this as an argument? And I can bet you that their ass read that whole thing out but probably didn't have a valid argument so they just wanted to make fun of the person who wrote the comment.

Im a Boreas Intergalactic Corp. Employee. AMA.

Im currently on a 6 month contract which has me stationed on the Ice exoplanet Z43CMB7, located about 3 light years away from the Solar System. Yeah, I got to travel with hyperdrive, its about 2 months to get here with that.

The Boreas site I work at does Mining and Biological and Mineral Research, but Im mostly involved with Research, Comms systems, and operating the Radio Telescopes they have setup (I cant tell yall anything about that as its classified info :P)

AMA about my job, what I do, what a typical day looks like here, how it is living here, the salary, the planet, etc.

Oh and the pics are:

  1. Me walking from my base to the comms tower

  2. The Comms Tower (its one of many but this one in specific is meant for ground communication, not interplanetary)

  3. My tiny base I currently live in (as viewed from the comms tower), we, the comms engineers, take turns living in these as the strong winds on this planet constantly wreck the comms systems which means they are in a constant state of disrepair. I however have to go to the main base for alot of stuff, like getting food and stuff.

  4. Overhead view of the Main Base, thats where the rest of the team is, underground of course. I cant show any pictures of how the underground part looks like yet, maybe another time. I usually spend evenings there while I am stationed at the tiny base.

  5. The Actual main base entrance, as seen from the front.

  6. My workplace in the tiny base! I use the computer for work related stuff, mainly the "Research" part, I dont really do much research I mainly do the paperwork surrounding it. The PC is also directly connected to the comms tower and an alarm sounds off when one of the antennas gets broken.

  7. The Tiny base I live in. It has a small bathroom underground but Im too lazy to take a picture of it. We take turns like every two weeks, theres another one but its like faaar away. I got like 3 days left till I go back to living in the main base.

Is it meant to be an opening? Giant straw insert hole? Do they have some sort of device that opens ration packets, and this is the opening? Camera lens? 1984 big brother?

Are we in the "Dark Ages" of SL servers?

It seems like a few years back there were so many good servers, modded, RP, silly modded, vanilla, vanilla+, etc. so much to choose from.

Nowadays it feels like the only servers worth playing are Candy Cult, Dr. Bright's and MAYHEM (also Kitchen Island). It seems like all other servers are either non-english or have a veery small playerbase.

All servers that used to be big before are defunct. Either the owners were bad people, or the servers just stopped being popular.

The Backrooms Movie is peak

Im gonna tell you what I think about the movie in detail but first some story time about what happened at my screening.

A couple of days ago I went to see the backrooms movie. Unfortunately there were a couple of loud little shits in the front row constantly whispering and saying shit like "this movie sucks!!!1! there's no Entity 4926367 and Level 42069!!!1!" out loud.

Then, just as the little gremlin uttered that, the projector froze. Then, Kane Parsons himself (He is 20 years old.) came into the screening room, and started berating the goblins for ruining the screening experience for everyone else and being a nuisance. Then, he made the entrance to the backrooms on the wall with the blue tape, got inside the backrooms, and entered back with Captain Clark. He then ordered Captain Clark to take away the gremlins from the screening, and they all screamed while Captain Clark was dragging them away into the Backrooms.

After this, everyone gave them a standing ovation, Obama himself got inside the screening room and awarded him and Captain Clark with a Medal of Honor. The cinema roof collapsed, killing 13 people, and Kane Parsons (He is 20 years old.) started ascending into the sky. Everyone was still clapping during all of this, some were jumping, screaming, shitting, crying, pissing themselves. The whole cinema floor was filled with shit and piss.

Then, once Kane ascended past the stratosphere, everyone sat back down and watched the rest of the movie.

Oh yeah about the movie, its alright, its good, like a 7.5/10, maybe 8/10, could've been longer.
