38 out of 57 CDs in my collection (Only Jewel Case 💿)

Based on my CD collection, can you guess which country I’m from?
I’d also be curious to hear your thoughts on my music taste.

Blurring the Line Between Noise and Music

This track began as an attempt to express the contrast between grotesqueness and beauty through sound.

Inspired by the title “pa’s revolting smile*,"* I incorporated dissonant harmonies and seemingly uncontrolled industrial sounds throughout the piece to create a sense of confusion and unease. As the song progresses, the rising intensity is reflected through layers of human screams, emphasizing the emotional escalation.

The sound design focuses on challenging and blurring the boundary between noise and music, exploring how both can coexist within a single artistic expression.

If you listen to it and feel interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out. I'd love to create something together with other artists.

Vasel Karnel - FWBOOK 2096 (Korean Lyric Video)

"FWBOOK 2096" is a deeply spiritual contemporary Christian song by indie artist Vasel Karnel that carries a profound, lifelong vow of faith.

The unique title itself serves as a direct reflection of the artist's intense devotion.

"FWBOOK" stands for "Forever We'll Be On Our Knees," representing a humble posture of worship and surrender before God, while "2096" signifies the estimated year of the artist's own passing. Together, they create a fierce declaration that until the very day he dies, he will do his absolute best to kneel before the Lord in praise.

Rather than remaining trapped in seasons of hardship, anxiety, or depression, the song serves as a powerful proclamation of faith, vowing to overcome all sorrow through unwavering devotion to God throughout his entire earthly journey.

rec. me some songs that feel tragic and devastating

I’m looking for songs that feel truly tragic and devastating, not just sad or melancholic.
Songs with the same kind of emotional weight as Karma Police by Radiohead.
Any recommendations?

What album completely changed the way you see music?

I’d love to know which album completely changed the way you see music.

For me, it was OK Computer.

The first time I heard it, I didn’t understand it at all. Nothing really clicked, and honestly, the songs just sounded strange to me. Then, a few weeks later, the outro of Karma Police — “Phew, for a minute there, I lost myself” — suddenly got stuck in my head.

I wanted to find that song again, but I couldn’t remember the title, so I decided to listen to the entire album from start to finish one more time.

That’s when everything changed.

I realized there was a whole world of music beyond anything I had known before. It was also the moment I truly understood what people mean when they talk about a masterpiece album.

Ever since hearing OK Computer, the way I think about music has completely changed.

there's something I'd like to be honest with you about

For the past seven months, I've been feeling like something isn't quite right with me. I still have a strong desire to create music that feels fresh, exciting, and original, but it feels as if my mind and body are no longer working together.

Because of that, whenever I sit down at the piano or pick up my guitar, I don't feel the same excitement I used to. Instead, I often feel a sense of fear or pressure. The strange thing is that I still genuinely love music, and I still desperately want to write something new. But when I actually sit in front of the piano or my computer, all I feel is overwhelming fatigue and sleepiness.

As a result, I haven't been able to finish any songs that I'm truly satisfied with recently. I managed to complete one track, but even that doesn't feel right to me.

I've started wondering whether I'm simply weak-minded, lacking discipline, or just being lazy. To be honest, this situation has been driving me crazy, and I don't know what to do anymore.

I love making music, which is why this has been so frustrating and confusing for me. I want to create again, but right now I feel stuck.

What do you think I should do?

Vasel Karnel - paradise between my legs (Official Video)

This is a sonic subversion that exposes the duality of modern music consumption. By using a highly provocative, attention-grabbing title, the track initially mimics the shallow commercialism of the music industry. However, once you press play, it completely flips the script. It feels like a late-night journal entry.

Vasel Karnel - angelic agony (Official Lyric Video)

〈angelic agony〉 is a beautifully haunting track that merges ambient space rock with dream pop and shoegaze. It layers floating, heavenly textures over a dense, crushing "wall of sound" driven by a deeply melancholic tempo. True to its title, the song delivers a hypnotic, cathartic experience that perfectly captures the contrast between serene beauty "angelic" and heavy emotional pain "agony".
