This is genuinely so messed up and makes me sick to my stomach

This was back in Nintendo’s edgy and mean phase. One of the covers for their magazines had this gruesome image of Bowser’s decapitated head served on a silver platter… You can clearly see he’s in pain and died gruesomely. This is just so fucked; Bowser is a father and an employer to thousands.

Also, it’s even more upsetting at how casual this is all looks. There’s drinks and seasoning shakers placed around as if this is some evil fucking restaurant serving mass produced entrees of Bowser’s lifeless head.

I don’t know what possessed Nintendo to do this to their most iconic and beloved antagonist. It’s gross.

Is a 2021 Hyundai Sonata Limited for 19k USD with 60k miles a good car to get?

I was aiming for a K5 but fell in love with this interior and all the features it gives. Most of them near me have only 1 owner and were made in South Korea

People don’t like James Woods?

He was so funny in Family Guy when he played himself

And he was amazing as Mike Toreno in GTA San Andreas

He brings characters to life and is good at playing them

Will we ever get another dark and gritty hitman game again?

I know we’re in the era of sanitizing things down for that Disney audience, but IOI should not forget their roots. Dark, grime, grit, and atmosphere.

Is there a lore reason for why the background Amestrian Soldiers have a dark navy blue outfit that’s different than what the named Amestrian Soldiers wear?

Even in the first few episodes, you can see Mustang and his group have a much different shade of blue than these guys, and they’ll even be in the same scene to more clearly show the difference.

And it’s not just Officer/Enlisted; we see the NCOs in Mustang’s unit have the same shade of Blue as the Officers

Since Motoko’s hair changes every couple episodes, do you think she’ll have her iconic purple hair by the season finale, just to do the cliche of the reboot protagonist needing to “earn” their iconic trait?

Guys did you know the game that was the biggest piece of entertainment in the world in 2008 is more underrated than a game for the PSP that most GTA fans didn’t even play?

Could the Modern day US Military win a full scale invasion against the United States during the 1920s?

I was just thinking about how the US was always a difficult place to invade due to its isolation and geography; but let’s assume all the time paradoxes and spatial issues of a 20th century America existing with modern US are magically handwaved

1920s US is fully defense-lusted

Modern US win condition is forcing 20th century US into an unconditional surrender through the invasion

Round 1: Modern US Army vs 20th Century US Army (only 20th century can conscript)

Round 2: Modern vs 20th century (both can conscript)

Bonus Round: Full scale invasion to the capitol (likely impossible, so Modern US is allowed to use WMDs)

No nukes allowed for R1 and R2

Could they do it?

Also for a bonus round: what would happen if this was 1942 US or later? When does Modern US get beaten in this scenario?

Power scaling becomes comedy if you genuinely believe this kind of crap

Do you have even the slightest clue about how physics works? How could you have the ability to generate energy potency of significantly harming a fucking MULTIVERSE, yet for some reason, you can’t destroy anything bigger than a country. That just doesn’t make any fucking sense— it’s absolute gibberish

“Fiction doesn’t have to follow the laws of physics”

My guy there’s a difference between ignoring physics for rule of cool; and having a character that can generate levels of INFINITE fucking energy in an attack- that somehow can’t destroy anything more than a country level of scale. INFINITY. YOU CANT CONFINE INFINITE ENERGY INTO JUST A FUCKING A COUNTRY, it would destroy everything around it and cause consequences of chain events that would likely destroy the universe

These power scalers use fancy scientific terms and wording, but it’s clear they have absolutely zero clue what they’re talking about. You can’t convince them how far they have their head up their ass. They don’t know how devastating light speed— much less infinite speed or immeasurable speed or whatever BS they come with next— would actually be in a setting with the most basic understanding of physics

“Oh but an anti tank round is Wall Level, yet it cant literally destroy a wall like it would for that same amount of energy focused across a larger impact”

No, because Wall level like in the comics would require far more energy than a 50BMG gives, so that’s not even true. AP = DC cope

How people say 2B is this ultra sexualized character

I always get confused, because what exactly is so overly sexualized about this outfit or character? Apart from a tiny boob window, she’s pretty much fully covered. Characters from series for literal children show more skin than 2B. Characters from series without fanservice show more skin than 2B

Am I missing something? What makes 2B a uniquely oversexualized character?

Could the US Military take on Raiden (Metal Gear Rising Revengeance)?

The US military cannot use nukes

MGRR Raiden appears on US soil and the US responds with a full military joint operation assault against Raiden

How long could they hold him off?

Let’s assume Raiden can replenish his energy with vehicles instead of the spinal fluids like in the game; otherwise he’d run out of energy eventually

How does it play out?

Win Condition: US military is able to disable Raiden OR, Raiden is able to force a surrender/disappear for at least a week before the US Military moves on

What are some Futuristic Sci-Fi characters that can survive the US Military coming after them?

In the last thread, I asked this question with Adam Smasher, and it looks like he’d get destroyed really easily.

The character you choose doesn’t have to outright force a surrender from the US Military, they just have to hold their ground long enough for the US Military to change tactics into negotiation or just give up their hunt

Could anyone do it?

Could the US military take on Adam Smasher (Cyberpunk 2077 Lore)?

Round 1: the US Military has no prep time

Round 2: The US Military has a week of prep time, but WMDs are off the table; Adam Smasher gets unlimited battery and resources needed to run

Could they do it?

No, you can’t counter a Jedi with conventional firearms

Okay, okay, think about this for a second: The Jedi constantly fight heavily armored Battle Droids and Droidekas that are equipped with advanced, thick space alloy composites that can easily endure heat far better than what we would have in real life

The Jedi with their Lightsaber can just slice these things without any problems; absolutely zero molten metal debris getting in their way.

So tell me why people keep bringing up that a Jedi can be countered by bullets “because the bullet would melt into molten debris when hit with the Lightsaber instead of bouncing off like Blaster bolts”

Now, if you know how bullets work, you’ll know a bullet is made of Lead inside a Brass jacket. And one thing Lead and Brass are very bad at— is surviving high temperatures. Regular Steel that we have today has a melting point more than double that of Brass or Lead; yet we see Lightsabers instantly vaporize things with far, far greater heat resistance than modern steel

So what does that tell you? It tells you that when this moron using absolutely primitive firearm technology shoots at a Jedi; their bullet is just going to be instantly vaporized by the lightsaber. No molten metal, nothing. Just absolutely trivial, ancient technology. It’d be like when you put cotton candy in water, the thing just disappears without a trace

I think it’s absurd how popular this take has gotten. If a tiny lead and brass bullet would really cause that much trouble for a Lightsaber; then realistically we would see Jedi struggle with molten debris from slicing blast doors and Battle Droids that are significantly thicker and more durable than any bullet that exists
