I'd like to know if anybody has eloped to Italy with zero guests ? We're gonna be in arriving in amalfi on the Friday and leaving on the Monday. We're hoping to plan to be wed with no guests and no fuss. Just us, an officiant and a photographer, then head about our business on our trip (no planned dinner etc). Has anybody done similar and how easy was it ? Thanks in advance.

How do we think Eggers will give us a cruel transformation using practical effects ? Is there any examples you can think of from other movies (doesn't have to be a werewolf) that can give a good example of the possibility of methods ?

I remember when GTA V dropped, I was 13. One of the first things I did after years of GTA 4, was find a skatepark on a motorbike and hit some flips. How soul crushing to land on your fucking neck. They gotta bring back those easy flips and rotations.

So much to my surprise, my 7yo climbed over the gate into our kitchen. She enjoys sitting on the counter and helping with baking, so mixing Rice Krispies in a jug with chocolate etc. I was shocked to see that she'd burst open 3 washing pods (tide pods) and put them into a jug as if she's baking with them. She has also clearly wiped the liquid on her body. Her whole body is practically wet and the counter. She is not the type at all to mouth items so I'm not concerned she's eaten any, and the amount of residue on herself and the oven/counter further leads me to believe she didn't ingest any. But if by any chance she had, would I be able to notice quickly ? Her mouth looks totally clear, she's laughing and happy like usual, not in pain and seems totally herself. I'm under the impression they quickly cause severe internal burns etc so I would think I'd know immediately ?

So, I've just binge watched all the way to most recent episode (9) before the season finale on Wednesday. After hearing endless recommendations, even seeing the word "masterpiece" thrown around I just had to check it out. I'm a sucker for that small town, mysterious setting. The comedy side to the show is really well done, it feels really natural whilst managing to get some good laughs from the viewer despite the spooky aspect. I don't have a single complaint about the acting, they killed it.

With all that being said, this show is being raved about too much, there's a fair bit of action unraveling between episodes yet it's still slow burn. There's no actual scares/horror, it's novelty spooks. For me it's a comfort/easy watcher with a cool setting and a fun story. Throwing the word masterpiece around is a bit much.
