What if the Last Dragonborn was... A Lilmothiit?

Dalan-Ra belongs to a small colony of his kind, hailing from Black Marsh; once thought lost, he was drawn to Skyrim, though he had no real reasoning as to why. It felt like he belonged there. Risking the unfathomable by leaving his home, hidden from the rest of the world, Dalan-Ra left Black Marsh, but as he would finally reach Skyrim, he would get caught in an Imperial ambush, being completely unaware of the current world politics, and was hauled off to Helgen to await his execution. Fortunately for him, he wouldn't be the first recorded death of his kind since the 1st Era, as a great black dragon would attack the city, managing to free himself and escaping with the help of the Imperials.

Some fun Echo interactions

I've been buggering about with Echo and actually found some pretty cool interactions.

There's a small handful of abilities that are triggered by Basic Attacks, but are classified as Ability Damage, which allows them to Echo, when you'd normally not really expect it to. So far, I've found this for:

- Scylla's built in Poly on her AO3

- Merlin's Passive

- Morgana's AO3 explosions, AO1's Clones (Specifically when proccing her 3) and Aspect AO3

- Ra's AO2 Projectiles

- Danzaburo's built in Poly on his AO3. In this case, it's actually counted as an Auto Attack and Ability, so it can Echo, Crit and proc Poly/Hydra's on top of his buffed Auto

- Medusa's AO1 Auto Attacks and Poison dot

Making Hybrid Scalers more dynamic: Medusa

So, remember how they said they wanted Hybrid scalers to be more like Tsukuyomi, and that how his scaling works is kinda how they want Hybrid Scalers to work? I'm gonna try that with Medusa. And maybe some others. So, if anyone from Hi-Rez sees this, then hey, you've got free ideas XD

Also, probably not balanced numbers. Just worry about the idea, that's the main point of this. And also assume she'd have balance adjustments to compensate for the power she'd be gaining, because changes like this would basically be a rework.

Medusa:

Viper Shot:

- If Intelligence is greater than Strength, Attack Speed gain is reduced, but Poison Damage over time is increased and lasts 2.5 seconds, up from 1.5 seconds. If Strength is greater than Intelligence, Attack Speed gain is increased and each shot deals additional Basic Attack Damage, but the Poison Damage is reduced.

Acid Spray:

- If Intelligence is greater than Strength, Acid Spray becomes Toxic Spray, dealing lower base damage, but gaining a slight boost to Intelligence Scaling and now dealing an additional 8/16/24/32/40 + 5% Intelligence Physical Damage over 4 seconds. If Strength is higher than Intelligence, Acid Spray no longer reduces enemy healing, but lowers their Physical Protections increases the damage the target takes by 5% for 5 seconds.

Lacerate:

- If Intelligence is higher than Strength, Lacerate's base damage is decreased, but now applies an additional 6/12/18/24/30 + 8% Intelligence Physical Damage over time. If Strength is higher than Intelligence, Lacerate deals increased damage and reduces the targets Physical Protections by 5/10/15/20/25 + 5% Strength. When Medusa hits an enemy God or a Statue, she lashes out in a circle, dealing damage and rooting around her. This portion of the attack does not reduce Protections.

Petrify:

- If Intelligence is higher than Strength, Petrify's cast time is reduced by 0.3 seconds, and enemies who are hit whilst not looking at Medusa take 10% increased damage from all sources. If Strength is higher than Intelligence, Petrify's base damage is increased and enemies who are Petrified take 10% more damage from Medusa.

A Hel Aspect

So, chances are she'll be getting either an Enchanter Aspect, or a Bruiser Aspect, as Hel has historically had use in both Solo and Support. So, I'm gonna do both. And the Solo one is gonna be a bit more of a unique approach to Hel.

Also, it should go without saying, these are probably not balanced. It's just the idea I really care about.

Solo:

Hel: Aspect of Duality

Restoration no longer heals allies, but deals increased damage to enemy Gods and heals you; Decay deals less damage to enemy Gods and no longer explodes, but Stuns Minions and enemy Gods. Repulse now deals damage based on your Max Health, and knocks back enemies within 5m of you; Inspire's ally healing is reduced and no longer grants allies Attack Speed, but your Attack Speed gains are increased. Stance Change's cooldown is increased to 15 seconds and isn't affected by Cooldown Reduction, but swapping to Dark Stance grants you increased Attack Damage and swapping to Light Stance grants you a Health Shield and Attack Speed. You always gain half of your inactive Stance's passive benefit.

Support:

Hel: Aspect of Inspiration

Restoration's damage is reduced, but it's healing is increased and now bounces to the closest ally, healing for 50% of the initial heal; Decay's damage is reduced, but the explosion area is larger and reduces enemy Shields and applies Anti Heal. Hinder's slow is increased and now reduces both Physical and Magical Protections; Cleanse grants allies increased Protections, as well as healing them, if a CC effect is removed. Repulse knocks enemies within 8m away from Hel, but loses all Intelligence scaling; Inspire knocks up enemies within 5m of Hel, and it's healing on minions is increased.

This was miserable

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy, and would be happy anywhere in the first 500 players, if I even get there.

But holy crap, this is not a fun thing to do. 23 games straight of Ix Chel, with boosters. So, it's probably over double that without them.

And sure, they don't expect you to do this with every God, you pick and choose your favourites, and get try to get the rewards. But there's gotta be a better way than just rushing to insta-lock a God, and go nuts with boosters just to make it achievable.

So, how come I never see AA Mordred?

Genuinely, this guy has the most loaded Attack Speed stim I've ever seen.

40% Attack Speed, at Rank 5, that deals AOE damage, whilst granting him Movement Speed, Bonus Protections and then gaining *more* Protections and Attack Speed by landing Auto Attacks.

Bro has Intelligence scaling. You throw on Gem of Isolation, and you're now slowing the target, giving you a poor man's Frostbound on that initial burst, allowing you to follow up with your 3 for even more slows, making it stupid hard for your lane opponent to escape you.

It's definitely weaker late game, but if you can get in and stick to someone, AA Mordred can be an absolute nightmare to get rid of.

And yet, I only ever see Lifesteal Ability Based Mordred. In the Jungle or Solo.

Angel, God of the Full Moon

He's not a true god, but is worshipped as one. In truth, he's just incredibly powerful, so much so that people came to worship him.

But this is Angel, one of the Five, the all male race of Nephilim, and is a Nightprowler - A born, pureblood werewolf.

Can I say something about Convergence?

First off, great mod. I think the FP regen is beyond OP, but it's a nitpick. Just give me a way to disable it, and I'm fine.

But no, I do have an actual gripe. Probably the only person in the world that even cares about it.

You won't make Flails good by making them Strength weapons. The only thing that makes them not complete garbage is their benefit of being Strike weapons for Dexterity builds. Why the fuck are the Flail and Nightrider's Flail now Strength weapons? They're now just shit Hammers. You made Hammers look good, that is what this change did. Because now they're competing with Flails. And you literally go and give probably the best Hammer in the game to the fucking Dreadnaught Starting Class, so there's literally never a reason to use a Flail. As their one use case, which is on a Dexterity build, now doesn't exist.

Otherwise, having a blast going through this. Would recommend. Just not if you're one of the 5 Flail enjoyers in the world.

I screamed

I know it's not that big of a deal, but I've never been accepted for one of these stress tests for anything, save for BG3's Patch 8 stress test.

I'm so excited.

Husky Cat Warrior

I only ever see two flavours of Khajiit - Skin and bone or muscle kitties. So, I made a Thic Kitty. Who, despite appearances, is actually almost fully built on the Large slider.

He's also part of the Pact, because I had this really fun idea for him being Argonian raised, and even wears a mix of the Khajiit and Argonian Heavy Sets. His name is Fur-of-Gold and is technically a Templar, but atm I'm planning on having him as a pure One Handed and Shield tank.

He can eat as much as he can bench, and often goes overboard on both.

I'm bored - Here's a new Relic effect for every Nightfarer

We really need an 'Other' or 'Misc' flair. But I digress. Also, balance isn't really being taken into account, cause it's a PVE game, so it literally doesn't matter

- Wylder: Become temporarily immune to damage on Ability activation

- Duchess: Ultimate Art restores FP to self and allies over time

- Ironeye: Deal increased damage and status build up when Precision Aiming with Ranged Weapons

- Raider: Improved Charged Attack Power after taking damage with Character Skill

- Recluse: Delayed Character Skill now fires an Affinity Projectile at the enemy of which Affinity was absorbed from

- Guardian: Whilst Ability is active, significantly reduce damage taken from behind

- Executor: On Ability activation, infuse equipped armament and Cursed Sword with the status recovered from

- Revenant: Call forth additional Family Member with Character Skill

- Scholar: Ability grants a stack of Throwing Pot Consumables based on Weapon Infusion at start of expedition (Defaults to Fire Pots)

- Undertaker: Activating Charged Character skill reduces attack chain length and increases stance damage of Hammer weapons for its duration

Edit: Updated Executor's Relic, as I was informed he basically already has the idea I came up with. Cheers for the heads up on that!

Guessing the Ix Chel Aspect

Let's see how close I get.

Aspect of the Seven Colours:

Gleaming Blast now scales with Protections from Items, instead of Intelligence; hitting an enemy or allied God causes Gleaming Blast to become Threads of Light. Threads of Light now heals all allies it touches, scaling with Ix Chel's Max Health, and now Slows enemies in addition to blinding them. Lunar Invocation's damage is reduced and it's damage no longer scales, but the delay is reduced and knock up height is increased; Rainbow Crash now grants Protections, as well as Movement Speed, and all allies hit by the central projectile gain a Health Shield.

I have a question about Toph

Before I even get involved, this is by no means slander or questioning her ability.

So, Toph is considered to be the greatest Earth Bender in the world, and does back that up, being that she discovered Metal Bending, and mastered it, Earth and Sand bending, by the time she died.

But, as far as we know, she never learned to Lava Bend. Which isn't a problem, right? Not everyone can. And Toph even says to Bolin in TLoK that 'it's an incredibly rare ability' and that 'He must have some talent, after all'.

That we know of, the only Lava Benders we've actually seen are Bolin, Gazan and Kyoshi. But whilst Kyoshi is easily the strongest user of it, she has never been credited as the one who discovered it.

So, if Toph was considered the greatest Earth Bender in the world for discovering Metal Bending, how has whoever discovered Lava Bending been completely lost to time? Especially when even Toph couldn't use it.

Arctic Imperial

So, I actually made this guy purely to get my Warden level achievements, but I actually had some lore in mind with him. And considering I'm currently 2 for 2 on the husky Imperial tanks, I actually opted to make him the twin brother of my Imperial Dragon Knight.

And since the Dragon Knight is all about fire, him being a Warden actually worked out really well, with him being an Ice Tank. So, they're identical in appearance, but opposites in thematics, which I thought was a really cool touch.

The Warden is Corvek and the Dragon Knight (who I've put at the end) is Inodius.

Two Handed Tank propaganda

I just really like this playstyle. It's way more aggressive, whilst still being really hard to take down, without losing out on the utility tanks would provide.

Now, I didn't play ESO back in the good old days. Which, as I'm talking about Two Hand tanking, those who were probably already know what I'm talking about XD. But I was really excited to learn that there was a set that enabled Two Handers to have a Taunt, in the Tormentor's Set, which gives any Leaps, Dashes, Blinks, Pulls or Teleports a Taunt. And with the Two Handed Critical Charge upgrade that gives it an AOE damage field, this taunted all enemies hit by the AOE.

I was very upset, when I found this interaction was removed.

But I have found something else, still using the Tormentor's Set, but in tandem with another Set. Which I picked up on almost right away, after finding this Set when trying to shift my main hand set more towards a more damage focused set up, with my Sword and Board off hand being my main tanking set up.

Critical Charge is a guaranteed Critical Hit, on it's initial hit. Which already synergises really nicely with Tormentor, as it enables you to heal for more health, when you use it, more still if you opt for Critical Rush. But that's not the important bit - The Crit is what matters. Because that introduces a new option for Two Hand tanking, specifically with Dragon Knights, but anything with a big aoe damage option would work.

Enter the Night Mother's Embrace Set: When you land a Critical Hit, you apply Major Breach for 3 seconds. With consecutive Crits refreshing the duration. So now, just like Sword and Shield's Puncture, you have a way with Two Handed weapons to both Taunt and apply Major Breach with a single button. Which is really nice. And the set already gives you some extra Crit Chance, as well, so you don't really need to invest all that much into it, especially since you can just group enemies into your AOE, which can also Crit.

And when used in conjunction with the Dragon Knight's new Engulfing Breath, you get a great way to apply and refresh Major Breach in a massive area, whilst being able to freely cancel the ability by blocking. Which a Sword and Board tank can't really do, as they're limited to just Puncture, assuming they're not a Dragon Knight. In which case, this also applies to them. So you end up dealing a decent amount of damage, by tank standards, whilst boosting your own damage with both Major Breach and Engulfing Breath's damage ramp, whilst also weakening enemies for your team to make their damage even stronger. Combined with the passive that applies a Slow to enemies when you inflict a Burn, and that extra damage even comes with some nice CC, too.

It's still not better than Sword and Board, and Sword and Board can probably use it better, thanks to already having better blocking than Two Handed weapons anyway, but the Tormentor's Set and the Night Mother's Embrace Set actually opens up a more unique tanking playstyle, which I've been really enjoying. I can't speak for how good it is in proper end game content, cause I'm only Level 400, and have only really just started experimenting with it in public dungeon runs, and it's worked pretty well. If I need that extra tankiness, I've got a Sword and Board set up in the back that can really bunker down, but even against public dungeon bosses, I don't always need to. And with Reaving Blows, it'd probably be even better, as Engulfing Breath is treated as Direct damage, so you can get some really nice healing from it, thanks to it shredding Protections and ramping its own damage up. I don't have it yet, as I've been focusing more on general defence first, but it would definitely provide a ton of value.

But yeah, I've been having fun with it. And I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. It's not as good as Ice Staff or Sword and Board, but it's also not trying to be. It's a more aggressive tanking playstyle, so for that more aggressive nature, you are gonna be sacrificing some tankiness, but you don't end up loosing too much for it to be detrimental. At least, not in the stuff I currently run, anyway.

We got any disabled OCs in here?

Doesn't matter whether visible or invisible. This is a place to show off OCs with any kind of disability and, if they have one, their carers are welcome, too.

These fellas are Tonitru and Fulgur, twin brothers, and whilst Tonitru is perfectly able, Fulgur has tourettes syndrome.

Half Wood-Elf Resist Durge, Bandele

He doesn't know his real name. The name he uses, Bandele, was the name of a human he found dead, as a boy, being his earliest memory. He doesn't know who the original Bandele was, why he was lying with him. or if they had any kind of connection. But without a name of his own, he took up Bandele's name so he would, at least, know how to answer if anyone asked him what his name was.

Fearing the dark whispers in his mind, Bandele sought control of those whispers, whatever they were, and made a Pact with a brilliant Celestial. Seeing the troubles hounding him, but unable to see the cause, the Celestial agreed to the Pact, so long as Bandele acted as his will, eradicating demons wherever they could be found causing chaos.

And so, he wanders on. Minus the black outs and foggy memory, Bandele served his Patron well, and people started to talk about a skilled Warlock who was both deadly efficient in dispatching demons, but also incredibly compassionate, and often stopped to tend the wounds of people injured in his scuffles, should they have injuries he could treat. He's no Cleric, but the divine gifts bestowed upon him by his Patron allowed him to mend the wounds of more minor injuries. People who know him tend to call him the 'Snow Elf', thanks to his incredibly fair complexion from his albinism, which he used to be annoyed by, but has since taken a liking to the name, over time.

A much less generalised design for Dalan-Ra

Still working on the finely details, he's a little too furry looking, for my tastes, but I feel like he's a massive step up from my very weirdly humanoid look for him, before. I mean, he's still a humanoid, that's the point, but in a much less uncanny sense.

Outside of opting for the white colour pallet, over the chocolate one, I've opted to bulk him up quite a bit, both in muscle mass and general weight, giving a much more warrior looking vibe, as he is meant to be a warrior. And I feel like this larger design for him really helps show that he's not someone you can easily force your way past. Plus, he just looks so much better with a belly 😂 Will probably continue to fiddle with his actual body weight to get that perfect blend of 'Giant wall' and 'Golden retriever' vibe I want him to have. The belly definitely helps with that softer side of him though.

In a way, he's meant to basically be his kind's version of Kairasan, so they actually share a lot the same traits and have similar builds, both being quite tall and muscular, but also having some extra heft you wouldn't normally see on those kind of 'hero' type characters. Most heroes are Superman or Batman shaped, and whilst I want to channel that idea, I also don't want them to look just like regular comic book heroes. So, outside of their characters, the belly is mainly there to just break stereotypes to help them feel a bit more realistic.

Only took 500 hours

Actually so mad my first Master Writ needed the Daggerfall Covenant style. Not because it was hard to come by, but because I'd apparently already had it by the time I bought a second page of the Daggerfall Covenant Shield motif. So, that's 5k gold I'll never get back 😭

u/Right_Entertainer324 — 28 days ago

So, if it's not a silly question

How do I go about getting Glass motifs? I had this really cool idea of a Glass Knight, but when looking into it, my main character (Who's currently Level 387 with about 500 hours on) has apparently never found one. So, I looked into the collections for it, and apparently they can be obtained through Writs. Of which I'm doing the highest level of Writs of daily, and they've somehow never dropped.

Are they just rare, and I'm seriously unlucky? Or are they only found in Master Writs? But if it was Master Writs, I feel like it'd be more specific and actually state that in the menu, rather than just saying 'Writs' and assuming you know they're in Master Writs.
