How are your Lems Chillums holding up?

I'm considering a pair of minimalist shoes for everyday use. I'm tossing up between the Vivobarefoot Geo Court IV (which I have from a recent sale) and the Lems Chillum in Varsity Blue.

I've seen a fair bit of chat about Vivo and the quality, and I have to say, looking at it, it doesn't look like it's particularly well-made, although it looks excellent.

For those who have the Lems Chillum, how are they holding up after consistent use? How long have they lasted you?

Casual shoe that lasts recommendation

Hey all

I've had 2 pairs of Merrell Trail Gloves for running that have lasted many years each. I'm looking for a casual everyday shoe that could work with shorts/pants, even for casual work meetings. As close to barefoot style as possible with wide toe box. The Trail Gloves are not as minimalist as some other shoes but they last which is a nice middle ground.

The one that really caught my eye was the Vivobarefoot Geo Court IV, because it seems to be versatile. But I suspect it won't last as long as the Merrells I have, as the sole is thinner and the previous Vivos I had, the sole wore out quickly.

I'm based in Australia too so there's less choice.

Can anyone recommend a pair of shoes similar to my Merrells that would fit the bill?

I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen. I'm based in Australia, and randomly bumped into another LP3 user while waiting for the lift. It was such a cool, surreal moment. We chatted about going light, including modifications and workarounds.

Anyone else had an IRL Light Phone moment?
