WARAG is coming this fall. I’m working on some new guns right now.

The sounds and visual effects on some of them still need some work, but I’m refining those too. For now, I wanted to share how they work and what the weapon selection wheel will look like.

Visual Improvements for My RTS Set in Ancient Rome - Latiarum

Hey everyone!
I've been working on my tiny RTS set in Ancient Rome. There's still a lot to do, but the early gameplay and visuals have already received some great feedback.

Recently I polished the visual side of the game by improving map markers, UI elements, unit portraits, and the 3D models themselves.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your feedback!

P.S. The screenshots on the Steam page are still from an older build.

Imperionis - a Roman tactical RPG

I’m working on Imperionis, a single-player tactical RPG about commanding Roman forces during a campaign in Gaul.

The game features:

  • turn-based centuria battles on a hexagonal field;
  • manual combat and an optional autobattle mode;
  • separate personal encounters for the Roman commander;
  • camp, equipment and troop development;
  • unlockable cavalry, support units and siege engines;
  • narrative decisions and checks with visible consequences.

The attached trailer shows the current campaign and combat systems.

If this kind of Roman tactical RPG interests you, you canadd the game to your wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4993610/Imperionis

Working on Latiarum, a tiny RTS set during the Late Roman Republic.

The game is inspired by classic RTS games like Warcraft II, with a focus on base building, resource gathering, army management, and battles in an Ancient Rome setting.

Working on a lowpoly RTS Set in Ancient Rome

Hi everyone!

I've been working on the low-poly visual style for my indie game, Latiarum, set in the Late Roman Republic. My goal is to create a clean, colorful, and readable look while keeping the charm of low-poly art.

I'd really appreciate your feedback. What would you improve about the visuals? Any suggestions on the art direction, colors, lighting, models, or overall style are more than welcome

My Tiny Warcraft Inspired RTS Set in the Late Roman Republic

The game is called Latiarum, a tiny RTS set during the final years of the Roman Republic. Gameplay-wise, it's heavily inspired by Warcraft II/Warcraft III, but with an Ancient Rome setting and a story-driven campaign covering the collapse of the Republic.

The goal is to create a classic RTS with a compact scope, focusing on base building and army management.

If you'd like to check it out, here's the Steam page:

An updated DEMO of my game on UZDoom(GZDoom) is now available.

The demo of my standalone UZDoom(GZDoom fork) game has just received a major core-mechanics update.

I’ve completely reworked the foundation of the game. It is now being shaped into a brutal boomer shooter with classic episode-based progression, but with upgrade-driven builds, replayability, and different ways to play.

This update adds a full enemy gib system, heavier blood effects, a Doom-style HP face, 25 upgrades, level-ups, evolution combos, reworked weapons, new balance, CRT/VHS post-processing, underwater distortion, and interface localization in 14 languages.

A demo version is available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3667830/WARAG_Demo/

p.s. Feedback is welcome - it really helps with development.

Reworking my game into a more brutal version

Hey everyone! About six months ago, I received a lot of helpful feedback. One comment about the game feeling derivative had a particularly strong impact on me and made me rethink what I actually wanted the project to become.

As a result, I decided to rework the game and take it in a much more brutal direction. It is no longer just an attempt to capture the spirit of Quake in GZDoom and wrap it in an unusual setting. Now it is a classic boomer shooter with modern progression elements and a skill system, while being even faster, harsher, and more intense.

I have not updated the demo yet, but I am planning to do so soon. I would be glad to hear your feedback.
