It’s not hard to see why: If I was basically forced to do a tour, have a life threatening injury before it even started, still have to do it after that injury, being very underweight and being forced to not move on with my career because of my family (especially my dad who made multiple deals behind my back), I would be hating it as well.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Bad Tour and It’s my second favourite tour behind the HIStory tour but I feel like it’s overrated slightly because people say it’s his peak at vocals and dancing and It is true in some parts of the tour, but in other parts it’s definitely weaker than the other 2 tours.

Starting with Tokyo, if people had to say that the bad tour was peak off of these shows alone, I would agree because these are some of the best ones in the entire tour. The vocals and movement are fantastic in these shows and it stays like that until we get to Yokohama (Even though I don’t mind those shows) the falloff between the first couple city’s and this is definitely apparent.

Osaka gets better by a bit but it doesn’t capture the highs of Tokyo and most of the Australian shows aren’t to out of the ordinary, But Brisbane shoots the quality all the way back up again because it’s a fantastic show.

Now we get to 1988, Kansas City and New York are really good shows for what we have seen from them but unfortunately once we get to St. Louis we go into the dark age of the tour where MJ sounds very rough these concerts from what we’ve seen and this lasts all the way from Mid March to Late April which is not very good.

When we get to Europe, he still sounds a bit rough until most of July-August. May is fine I suppose but it’s still not on the same level as Tokyo ‘87 or Brisbane but it get worse in June until Cologne where he sounds really good and moves fantastically.

Then we get to Wembley and it’s so hit or miss for me and Wembley 16th is definitely a miss but 22th is way better.

August-November is pretty much the exact same throughout, MJ sounds good, He moves good, there’s just not a lot of memorable stuff coming from those in my opinion.

But then we get back to Tokyo and the quality goes back up again, these shows are fantastic and just might be on the same level as ‘87 and there’s almost no bad shows from December onwards.

LA ‘89 is good, nothing much to say about those shows but he definitely sounds way better than he did in the first US leg and half of Europe and from the snippets we have seen from the shows he is moving around the same level as December show so that’s good.

Overall the Bad Tour is really great, but it is overrated a little in my eyes and at the end of the day this is MY opinion and this is not definitive.

I had a realisation the other day, When I was watching a 1997 show I realised that MJ is happy and smiling so much during his 1997 concerts/performances and It makes sense.

MJ just had his first kid before the second leg of the HIStory tour and found out he was going to have another kid around half-way through the leg so I can’t blame him for being happy

From June-August, He’s smiling so much and its happy seeing him like that

Can’t say the same for the last 2 months because because of how much he was happy during those first 3 months I can say that 1997 was his happiest year touring

I’ve been seeing some people say they wish Human Nature was in the history tour and as much as it would be a nice addition it would not be very good in the ‘96 leg, ‘97 would be pretty good because he mostly sings great during the ‘97 leg but ‘96 would be very very rough so I’m gonna break it down into what concerts it would not be very good in ‘96 and some ‘97 (Before continuing just letting you know this is MY opinion k?)

Tunis: MJ was going through a lot of vocal strain during this concert and it shows, Him singing human nature might be better than some of the others I’m about to mention, but it wouldn’t be very great in that concert

Seoul 11th: MJ’s sick in Seoul 11th and in The Drill, J5 Medley you can hear it a bit, he might’ve be able to do it fine but we’ll never know

Mumbai and Bangkok: Laryngitis. enough said.

Auckland 9th and maybe 11th: MJ still has Laryngitis here and i’m pretty sure we can guess how it would go based off the concert we have

Manila: MJ is VERY raspy here and sounds hoarse because he’s still recovering from Laryngitis and other sickness I believe

Munich: You know why.

September-October ’97: MJ is very tired and strained from the tour from the tour so I suspect the quality of human nature would go down around here

If I messed something up with my reasons please let me know

Thats why Human Nature imo would be…Not very great in the HIStory tour especially the ‘96 leg

I’m tired of pretending that HIStory tour isn’t his best tour when it is imo.

The energy is peak, MJ is at his dancing peak here and his Vocals are amazing in most shows.

And to people who don’t like it because MJ used playback and “Lipsynced” MJ also used it in the Bad and Dangerous tours but almost no one brings that up

HIStory is the best one and I’m tired of pretending it’s not

how much amateur footage is there of pro concerts?

In order:

-I make post about Bucharest ‘92 being a mid concert for MJ standards

-I make a cringe and dumbass post that I regret on 6 MJ subreddits

-I test if I can get away with Ban Evading in the main MJ sub

-I get temp banned on main MJ sub and mods say I can come back in a month

-I don’t do anything bad for a month as I wait for my ban to end

-I get unbanned for main MJ sub

-I make one comment

-I get perm banned in main MJ sub for Ban Evading even though I didn’t do anything

I think Copenhagen ‘97 is a way better concert then Kuala Lumper 29th
