[Virginia] A friend has fled an abusive situation with her child, and has left the spouse in VA and is now in another state a few hours away. What does she need to do now?

I read in another post that if she files for custody in VA, as opposed to the new state she is in, she will be stuck in VA.

What does she need to do here?

Will she get in trouble for having left with the kid without giving 30 days notice? I saw that online as well.

Just trying to be a supportive friend to her. Thanh you.

Is there a pic or list of… [spoiler]

… the peoples’ names from the inside of the Georgia tourism book relic?

I know it’s been burned in the show‘s timeline.

I can’t find a good pic of it though so I figured I’d ask.

ESPN+ can’t even use the right logo for us on TV 😂 That’s UMass-Lowell, not AU.

Watching our women’s soccer play at UMBC. ESPN, is it that hard to get a logo right? 😂

Does the fitness tracker I want exist?

I just want a device to count my steps, monitor my sleep, and monitor my heart rate.

I don’t want a device with a big screen. No screen would be optimal. I don’t want a subscription or AI crap. I don’t need any extra stuff.

My favorite fitness tracker ever was the Fitbit Flex 2. Is there anything similar today?

Two fans escorted from seats in Aces’ overtime win against Fever (dudes were chirping at Jackie Young)

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two men were escorted from their courtside seats in Gainbridge Fieldhouse during the third quarter of the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever matchup on Thursday.

The incident began after Las Vegas guard Jackie Young inbounded the basketball and motioned toward fans sitting courtside and spoke to a referee. The game was stopped for several minutes with 4:38 left in the quarter, and security escorted a woman, who was sitting in the front row directly across from the Aces bench, out through a tunnel.

A few minutes later, she was assisted back to her seat and two men who were seated near her were taken out.

"He was just chirping all game," Young told reporters following the game. "I let him have it, and then he just made one that was a little bit too far."

Young declined to share specifics of what the fans said to her. "I think we'll just keep it in here," she said.

"Following a report of a comment directed toward a player, arena security spoke with the fan involved and witnesses," the Fever said in a statement. "Security determined there was no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct. The fan was not removed from the arena, but elected to leave. We consider the matter closed."

Regardless of the specific outcome, Young was happy with how it was handled.

"They did the right thing," she said. "Obviously, we don't want to see fans get kicked out, but at the end of the day, we're human too. So let's just show up to games, have fun and not take it too far."

Las Vegas won 86-84 in overtime thanks to a buzzer-beater 3-pointer from Chelsea Gray.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Help! I have no idea what shampoo/conditioner to use

I’ve been using the same stuff since high school (I’m in my 30s now). I cut my own hair (grew up poor and got in the habit).

No one ever taught me about the different kinds of shampoos and conditioners.

I have developed dry scalp and my hair has become dull.

What type of shampoo/conditioner should I be looking for? I’ve been using a “hydrating” one.

What is a good affordable drugstore-available shampoo/conditioner?

Thank you 🙏

Is the mail extremely slow for anyone else?

I live in Burlington County. When I send stuff to family and friends in Camden, Gloucester, and Atlantic Counties, it can take weeks to a month to arrive. I’m talking birthday cards, that kinda thing.

Am I just cursed by the USPS gods?

Where to begin? What to expect? How to make sure the surrogate is ethically treated? (Seeking agency and surrogate - Philly area)

Feeling overwhelmed! I want to begin the process but don’t really know where to start.

What are green flags and red flags for an agency?

What is the process like, for the woman going through IVF and the woman going through the pregnancy?

How can I ensure that the surrogate is treated well and ethically?

Seeking data on areas that have experienced the LEAST temperature change/increase as climate change has increased.

I keep seeing data on those with the MOST but I’d be interested in reading about the opposite.

Thank you for any info you can provide!

Medford people: has your town been doing anything to celebrate Brenden Aaronson, starter for the USMNT at the World Cup? Are there game watch parties? ⚽️

Just curious. I saw Media, PA doing stuff for Auston Trusty.

New 24/7 diner just opened in Voorhees

Harmony Diner, at the site of the old Voorhees Diner. Owned by the same folks as Pandora.

Figured you fellow diner lovers would wanna know. It’s nice to see a 24/7 diner return.

Who do I report an unethical and sketchy animal “rescue” to?

They’re located in Camden County but I’ve also seen them use a Burlington County address.

They’re called MatchDog Rescue but apparently recently attempted to rebrand as Trust Rescue.

If you’re a vet or tech or trainer, you likely know of this place and how shady it is. There’s a reason a lot of local places ban the owner and her staff from their services.

Yesterday, Tom Kane died. He was the voice of Woodhouse from season 3 to season 6 (as well as Hessler in season 6). RIP legend 💐

Man did a ton of voice acting but some noteworthy roles included:

Darwin on “The Wild Thornberrys”

A bunch of “Star Wars“ voices including movies, Clone Wars, Bad Batch, and Rebels characters (narrator, Yoda, Ackbar, Yularen, etc.).

Professor Utonium on “The Powerpuff Girls”

New hybrid purchasers - extended warranty?

Hi! I am probably buying a new 2026 LE very soon.

Given that it is a hybrid (and my first hybrid), is it worth it to get an extended warranty (since the engine is a bit more complicated and all)? Or does that come with it? What is a good price, if not? what is a good length of time?

Thank you 🙏

Does anyone know what these represent? Saw on the back of a car with PA license plates. They also had a “John 14:6” sticker plus a sticker of four nails making a cross. I assume they’re super Christian, but I’m stumped by what the stickers mean.

I don’t know Bible stuff but apparently John 14:6 can be controversial, since it states that there is only one true religion (Christianity). See: https://www.holyblasphemy.net/john-146-the-most-controversial-verse-in-christianity/

The show should’ve written out Andy after he left for anger management in season 3.

Not *because* of the wall incident… but because his character was already kinda pointless beyond the merger.

Leaving for good would have been a fitting end to the conniving nepo baby without his own personality who tried to get Dwight fired: going crazy and embarrassing himself, AND getting fired, while Dwight had a triumphant return to the office.

I just finished my 11,837th or so rewatch of the show and man, he just did not add anything of value to seasons 4-9.

I can see the purpose he served in early season 3 and as a foil to Dwight. But he was the worst part of season 9, he was a bad choice to be the boss, and he never really had chemistry with anyone (even Erin; that plot was really forced) and was just kind of there. He was just written to be annoying and… was. And that’s about it.

It just felt like Andy Bernard was pushed on us so hard from his return on out.
