[OC] The Sky Within
Tried mixing 1-bit pixel art with real cloud footage for Cloudy’s hair. I reduced the video to a limited palette and used Bayer dithering so it would feel more connected to the pixel art

Giving my old 8th-gen Kindle a second life as animated art gallery.
I've always loved the unique aesthetic of E-ink screens. Since I create 1-bit animations, I wanted to see how they would look on my old, dusty 8th-generation Kindle, despite the slow refresh rate limits.
After jailbreaking it, I managed to get my frame-by-frame animations running directly on the hardware. Honestly, the ghosting and the slow transition of the E-ink gave the loops a really gritty, lo-fi charm that I wasn't expecting!
What do you guys think? Happy to answer any questions about the setup if anyone is curious!
