To ensure no children fell into the hands of the invading army, around 3,000 children were thrown into wells and fires ahead of the final breach.Saka Deaths: Over 32,000 Rajput warriors and fort defenders put on their saffron robes and were slain fighting during the Saka phase.
The Third Siege (1568)Jauhar Toll: On the night of February 22, 1568, after fort commander Jaimal Rathore was mortally wounded, defeat became inevitable. Approximately 8,000 women performed Jauhar.Saka & Civilian Deaths: Roughly 8,000 Rajput warriors perished during the final Saka charge. After the fort fell on the morning of Holi, Akbar ordered a brutal general massacre of the un-armed civilian population inside the fort. Official Mughal documents, including recordings by Abul Fazl, confirm that 30,000 Hindu civilians were slaughtered. To record the scale of the victory, Akbar famously ordered his officers to collect the Janeu (sacred Hindu threads) from the dead bodies, which totaled 74.5 maunds (a traditional unit of weight, signifying a massive loss of life).
This religion still has people following it is what surprises me and there are people who would respect the people who follow it! Try explaining this to an alien.
While traveling back home from office, scooter stopped and a error flashed on the screen "scooter issue, please restart", I restarted and the moment scooty gets any bumb from the road condition or speed breaker it stopped immediately and the same error pops.
So basically not drivable. I am about to raise my complaint and get it picked up by their tow services (ola care plus plan i had brought)
I'll keep you guys update since I am unsure what is the problem and how long will ola take to return me back my bike.

Rather than blaming them and abusing them. Why don't we try and come up with a solution that is feasible in the current political environment.

Victim: Shraddha Walkar, 27, from Maharashtra
Accused: Aftab Amin Poonawala (live-in partner)
What happened: In May 2022, Aftab allegedly strangled Shraddha in their Mehrauli flat after a fight. He then cut her body into 35 pieces, stored the parts in a fridge, and dumped them over 18 days in Chhattarpur forest (Mehrauli).
Arrested on 12 November 2022. Charges framed in May 2023 under IPC 302 (murder) + 201 (destruction of evidence). He pleaded not guilty.
Trial has been dragging since 2023 at Saket Court. Shraddha’s father (who was fighting the case) passed away in 2025.
Latest Court Order (as of July 2026)
The court had ordered day-to-day recording of prosecution evidence from 20 July to 25 July 2026 to speed things up.
On 8 July 2026, Additional Sessions Judge Hargurvarinder Singh Jaggi cancelled the 20 July hearing.
Reason:
Aftab applied for exemption saying he has his final MA Sociology exam (IGNOU) on 20 July 2026 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the exam centre inside Central Jail No. 3, Tihar.
Court accepted it and ordered:
No production of Aftab on 20 July
Prosecution evidence will now start from 21 July 2026 at 2 PM
