Is an rad tech program something you can get through if you aren’t passionate for it?
After I graduated HS I want really sure what to do. I am a jack of all trades so they’re wasn’t anything that stood out. I have family that does MRI, and figured this could be a somewhat relaxed, stable, well paying job.
The last number of months doing prereqs has just fucking blown. (Blowed?) I didn’t mind HS but I guess that’s cause it was fairly easy and had the social aspect. I’m doing online classes (which could be contributing) at community colleges, so there’s no university vibes either. I have attended in person stuff but it’s still sucky.
Ive had programs tell me that i could be placed in clinicals as much as 2 hours from campus which sounds like a fucking nightmare. So you’ve got being a full time student, working clinicals I assume full time or near it, and then if you have to live or pay for school you are working, I can’t imagine any free time.
Im also concerned since I am an epileptic, my kind requires good, consistent sleep, and I was told to avoid stress among other things. So the stress of everything or just the time everything takes worries me.
These programs seem really tough, which is something you can deal with if you played nurse since you were a toddler and know this is what you want to do. If that drive isn’t there, can I get through it? Did you?
How are German export policies/ whats the minimum price of a gun to be worth importing?
My dream gun is a USP elite in 9mm. The import batches are so infrequent and I missed the last one. There are tons of them for sale on gunfinder in Germany, and was just curious how their export policies compare to other European countries, for the sake of importing one. Or is it just not worth it for one?
How do wipes affect rifle calibers?
Wanting to set up a new hunting rig, and I prioritize hearing safety in them. Wipes are typically used with round nosed pistol bullets, but what about spitzer or RN rifle rounds? I assume that expanding is not feasible, like with hollow points. Do they disrupt accuracy enough to not keep 1-2 MOA within 200 yards?
And I know they are viewed as suppressor parts now technically but have heard that’s only true if they were purpose built wipes, and something like an o ring is acceptable?
we love popcorn and my mom asked coda machine for mothers day. I want to get her something nice, as weve been making more latterly since I found out about flavacol. There’s this popsmith one I see that looks quite nice, but its $200 vs like 50 for a more “standard” pot, and it kinda seems like it’s 150 dollars worth of nice looking enamel paint and marketing. I don’t want to get a “theater style” with the overhead pit since in my experience they are a pain to clean. Recommendations?
