In honor of Clive Barker's 74th birthday today, I've been watching his films all day long.
I'm finishing with The Midnight Meat Train. As I'm sitting here engulfed by the story and the gore, I thought about how underrated this film is.
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I feel like this film isn't talked about as much as should be.
What's everyone else's take on The Midnight Meat Train?
What's your favorite Clive Barker film?
**I will be updating this post daily with my viewings.**
Every year I see 31 Days of Halloween challenges.
I usually partake in them, but some days I'm not down with the daily theme.
This year I decided to take matters into my own hands and come up with one that better suits my liking.
Feel free to join me in my monthly quest .
Share what movies you've watched and recommend.
DAY 1: SLASHERS
Scream
Urban Legend
Scream IV
•Runner Ups
Laid to Rest
Slumber Party Massacre
***(***I'm not choosing the obvious slasher film because they will be coming later in the month.)
DAY 2: ZOMBIES
Train to Busan
Dead Snow
28 Days Later
•Runner Ups
28 Weeks Later
28 Years Later: Bone Temple
(All George A. Romero and Giallo directors films will be saved for their assigned day. As will zombie comedies.)
I'm currently getting my annual list to for 31 Days of Halloween
I always see peope doing them every year, but this year I decided to create list of daily theme
Has anyone elsea done this

Maddie sure did tell Cassie what was up.
I binge his videos all the time. He's the best best
He is so pretty, even with the mustache.
He need his own show.
Any of my other fellow Chelsea's go this when they were younger? I still get it now and feel the need to correct them. Especially when The Killer's Mr Brightside came out.
All time favorite zombie movie!
Baskin (2015) is a Turkish horror film directed by Can Evrenol about a squad of police officers who stumble into a surreal, nightmarish version of Hell after responding to a call in a remote town, featuring disorienting dream logic, extreme gore, and disturbing imagery. The narrative follows the rookie officer Arda as he experiences a descent into a hellish, cult-like ritual, blurring the lines between reality, dreams, and a supernatural underworld. It's known for its intense atmosphere, graphic violence, and surreal, "mind-bending" style.
This film needs more recognition. I feel like no one ever talks about this film.
The surrealism in this film is fantastic. You definitely cannot talk about this film and neglect the amout of gore!
This film will definitely stick with you..
