The Hyundai IONIQ 3 is the affordable electric hatch we want but can't have
Anybody else wish we were getting this in the US? I'd be all over this or an EV4 hatch.

So, according to Wikipedia, there was a version of the 5/Premacy with the Skyactiv-G in it. Anybody know if Canada got this one since they got the van longer up there?
Since it was sold here and there, you might be able to import it without too much hassle.
Edit: Here's the source for the Skyactiv-G info: https://autoc-one.jp/news/1298098/
Looks like Subaru is holding the price of all Uncharted Models and not making any changes at all, not even an additional paint option. They are doing the same with the Solterra so it is safe to say they will do the same with the Trailseeker as well.
Anybody else wish Toyota would bring the Sienta over to the US? With van sales back on the upswing and gas prices higher, it would be nice to have a smaller, more economical option to the Sienna here in the States.

I'm pretty sure we've had posts about Sen̓áḵw before, but this was a little different window into the project than I've seen before. #LandBack
Just got this email from ABRP that they're working on adding the Uncharted.
Hey folks,
We're buying out the lease on our i6, and the dealer wants to do a "HYUNDAI CERTIFICATION" they tell me will turn the car into a CPO. Is there any advantage to doing that versus just taking the car? I'm not sure the $2379 is worth it.
I also don't entirely trust the dealer not to do something shady since they said they buy it from Hyundai and then we buy it from them. I'm half afraid they'll take the car and sell it to somebody else while they have it for the "certification."
For reference, we can't go through Hyundai Motor Finance to close out since we're in SC and the online portal says we have to visit a dealer. My previous lease I bought out was all online and simple, but I lived in a different state at the time.
Edit:
1)This is a Limited RWD.

Every week, my small rubber stamp factory in Minnesota sends hundreds of pounds of clean, high-quality natural rubber to the landfill. It kills me. This is the stuff trimmed off the edges of our stamps. It's soft, natural red rubber, no dirt, no contamination.
I've posted before and gotten tons of great suggestions. I've reached out to every single one. Mulch recyclers, playground surfacing, crafters, art teachers, makerspaces, you name it. Nobody wants it. Most would rather grind up dirty old tires than take clean rubber from a stamp shop. I can't make it make sense.
It's free. You just pay shipping, which works out to about $1/lb. I'll ship as much as you want. Use it for crafts, gaskets, packing material, garden mulch, art projects, whatever. I just want it to go somewhere besides a landfill.
If this resonates with you, please crosspost it to any subreddit you think might want this. Crafters, gardeners, makers, sustainability, hobbies, anything. That's the real ask.

TOKYO — Subaru Corp. is taking a $362 million charge and delaying production of its independently developed electric vehicle in Japan as slowing EV demand reshapes the automaker’s electrification strategy, forcing a tilt back to hybrids and internal combustion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL6S0eQkMXM
From all car news. What are your thoughts?
I'm still a bit in the window shopping phase since my Impreza is still trucking, but the Bolt is one of the few smaller EVs on the market, so it's definitely on my list.
I've been trying to figure out if the '27 has the side view of the blinker cameras when you turn the blinker on? My wife's Ioniq 6 does, and it's a nice addition to checking over your shoulder, especially in more hectic traffic.
I saw a passing reference to some of the GM EVs having it, but couldn't figure out which models have it. (Probably because IDK what GM's marketing term is for it. Lol)
I feel like reviews of the Uncharted are all over the place about rear leg room, but this one put it in the context of the Crosstrek, which I found helpful as an Impreza driver.
"At 6 feet 4, I fit just fine up front, and it’s easy to get comfy in the well-padded, if slightly flat, front seats. But with the front seats adjusted for me, the back seat is a tight fit. The GT’s panoramic sunroof also detracts from headroom. For tall people, both knees and upper bodies are pinched, but it’s fine for folks under about 5 feet 9. The Crosstrek has the same issue with legroom but not headroom. The Uncharted’s rear doors are pretty small too, so loading and unloading kids might not be so easy."
We finally got a Trailseeker and Uncharted in here, and I was able to park my Impreza next to them.
The Uncharted is only four inches longer than my car, IIRC, but it looks a lot bulkier. Some of that is being higher like a Crosstrek and the added height from the battery pack underneath. I think a lot of it too is the higher hood line, which I don't love. I suspect this might impact forward visibility a bit, so that's another point in favor of going with the Sport or GT for the cameras.
The Trailseeker looks good in photos, but even better in person. The camera certainly adds some pounds, because in person it really looks like a svelte wagon. I felt like I was seeing the ghost of the Legacy Wagon. Lol
I think a lot of that is the roof rack. I remember liking the Outback Touring with the flush rails better than its contemporaries as well when that was a thing. I'm very excited to see how these look once people get them lowered.
