About to payoff my 2020 Jetta sel and want to upgrade to something bit more performance worthy. I’m not too worried about speed(as both obviously are a large setup for me) but more so just want a better looking and sounding car.

I’m likely going to buy used, trying to spend around 25k and seeing decent candidates for both cars in my price range. I’m leaning toward the GLI given it has more standard features(I really like the ventilated seats) but the GTI sound like it might be more fun to drive. If I went gli I would want a 2025 or newer just cause I like the front grill a lot more on the new one. Would go back as far as 23 on the GTI though.

I’ve owned two jettas so I like the feel and height, but I know the GTI sits a bit lower which may not be as great for my back? I know the gli takes regular gas and gets better mpg so gli feels like the more practical car. That said I don’t have kids or anything that would limit me on practicality though. And I’m probably doing to get automatic/dsg(I know I may get roasted for this one 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Does the exhaust sound that much better in the GTI vs the gli? Really looking for a satisfying sounding engine

Hoping to find something with less than 40k miles(which I see plenty of online), but just looking to see if there are any pros or cons I should know about when trying to weight my decision. Any input is helpful

I typically goto one game a year. I usually pick a less than desirable team they’re playing, one that has a player I really wanna see. This year I went to the e Sacramento game in January, the Denver game in February the year prior(wanted to see Westbrook before he hangs it up).

I usually try to find a budget seat downstairs and typically don’t have much trouble. Something within like 10-20 rows in the corner usually runs about $75-100.

Seeing how insane the prices are for the games they’ve released makes me think I won’t even be able to get tickets upstairs for the price I was paying before.

The LeBron effect is really gentrifying live games and basically cutting off all average Joe fans from actually being able to go to games.

Will these prices ever cool off or is it just gonna be how it is now? I know tix were always expensive when Lebron came to town in the past and no reason why that would be any different. But I’m feeling like I won’t be able to goto a sixers home or away game as long as LeBron is on the team.
