Trying to decide between the PG34WCDN (UW) 1440p or PG32UCDM3 (4K) for PC monitor?

I’m currently looking at upgrading my UltraWide IPS monitor and am trying to decide between two different Asus monitors. The choices I’m looking at are the Asus PG34WCDN for UltraWide 1440p or going to 4k with the PG32UCDM3. My current monitor is a 1440p and as I haven’t used a 4K PC monitor I’m not really sure how big of a difference the resolution upgrade is from 1440 to 4k. I have a 5080 GPU as well so I think I’d be okay with either decision in terms of performance.

Has anyone used either monitor that could give their thoughts or recommendations on which monitor to go with? Is 4K resolution worth it over 1440p for gaming with performance aids such as DLSS or is 1440 still the way to go?

Has anyone found a fix for the stuttering issue on PC for FF7 Rebirth?

I started playing FF7 Rebirth on PC knowing at launch the game had some performance issues but wasn't sure the current state of the game. I've noticed some stuttering issues especially in chapter 2 and was wondering if anyone was able to find a fix for the issue? I have the game installed on an NvME so that shouldn't be the issue. Has there been any fixes created via mods or otherwise that you would recommend taking a look at?

I have a Dream Router 7 and I’m looking for a way to extend WiFi to rooms further down the house without needing to hardwire the extenders. Does unifi have any WiFi extenders that I could use for a mesh network without the need of plugging an Ethernet into the extender? Are there any devices you would recommend taking a look at?

Would you recommend the Switch version of MLB The Show 26?

I’m thinking about picking up MLB The Show 26 for my Switch 2 and was curious how it ran or performs on the console? Would you recommend picking up this years game on the console?

I'm finally picking up my first OLED and am trying to decide between the PG32UCDM3 or the PG32UCDMR which is currently on sale for around $1100. Are the new features/improvements on the Gen 3 model worth the extra $300 over the prior version? Is the black shield implementation something that would constitute the extra money and does it help with longevity in terms of possible burn in issues? Also, with the new version having better blacks, does the monitor look better than the "R" variant? Which would you recommend picking up, the latest version or the prior variant?

I'm thinking about upgrading my monitor and picking up the Asus PG34WCDN OLED Ultrawide. Has anyone had a chance to try out this monitor that would recommend it? I'm coming from an IPS Acer UW and was wondering if the OLED aspects makes a big difference at 1440p? The montior will be used for mostly gaming with some productivity here and there. Any thoughts?

I'm trying to decide between two different OLED monitors with them being the Asus Ultrawide PG34WCDN or the Asus PG32UCDMR. I have a 5080 so I think i can run either monitor comfortably but for those who have tried out UW 1440p and 4k on OLEDS, whoch would you recommend going with. Does 1440p still look good on OLED monitors? Is 4K a big or noticable difference? The monitor would be used for mostly gaming with some productivity. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I’m thinking about upgrading my Acer Predator Uw monitor and was wondering what some of the better UW monitors are on the market today? I’m looking for recommendations on both OLED and non-OLED monitors. For those who have used OLED, do you worry about burn in or has that issue became somewhat null due to the protective measures these days? What monitors would you recommend taking a look at?
