Which artist did the hardest genre pivot?

Norman Cook went from playing bass for UK indie band, The Housemartins in the 80’s. Then after they called it a day. He moved onto Beats International before finding the most success as DJ Fatboy Slim. Like it’s insane to think about.

Mark Ronson: Watch The Sound: as a Mark Ronson fan I enjoyed this mini series as how electronic music works.
Take 5 with Zan Rowe: one of Australia’s best music journalists interviews notable people from Australia and around the world talking about what five different songs mean to them. Based off a show she started on Triple J radio.
Spicks and Specks: comedian Adam Hills hosts a music quiz show with team captains Alan Brough and Myf Wharhurst. The series has been running intermittently for 20 years now.
Nevermind The Buzzcocks: the UK series has had many incarnations, all great. But my favourite was the post Simon Amstell era where it was all guest hosts. I don’t mind the revival on Sky with Greg Davies tbh.
