When i first got the game i downloaded both 1 and 2, but i tried 2 first because i preferred the visuals over 1, and the art is what drew me in in the first place. I did eventually switch to playing 1 since i felt bad for skipping it, but it just didn't click with me in the same way.

First off both games are absolutely stunning visually, but 2 takes the cake by far imo. The gameplay also felt a lot smoother and more approachable to me, and the mechanics seemed better explained. I also appreciate the ability to choose your weapon.

None of these are a huge deal so if it's really important for my experience that i play them in order, then i will. It's just that i have a really hard time following the plot already (dialogue is VERY medieval-y, which i like for the atmosphere but its hard to grasp sometimes), so it isn't a huge deal to me if i miss out on some plot by playing them out of order.

Anyways, i just wanted yall's opinions on what the best experience would be. Thanks!
