To those who successfully secured a spot: how rough around the edges was your first application attempt?

Roundabouts are actually fine once you stop overthinking them. During my lessons, multi-lane spiral roundabouts were my absolute villain origin story. I used to cry just thinking about them. But now that I've been driving independently for a couple of months, I've realised that if you just get your lane discipline sorted early, check your mirrors, and don't panic if you take the wrong exit (just recalculate!), they're actually quite satisfying. Mirror, signal, lane, move.

Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of mess as much as the next person, but it feels like the producers are using these clips to actively destroy any couple that shows a shred of real potential. Years ago, the drama came naturally from people stepping on toes or heads turning in Casa. Now, they play a 5-second out-of-context clip from week 1 during week 6, and everyone spends three days sulking by the firepit. It feels so manufactured now. I miss watching people actually enjoy each other's company instead of constantly walking on eggshells waiting for the next producer ambush.

As someone who's lived here forever, I've realised there are loads of things we do that probably look strange from the outside. What British habit took you the longest to get used to?

I’ve become pretty comfortable buying most things online, but there are still a few things I’d rather see or try in person before handing over the money. Clothes are an obvious one for me because sizing can be all over the place, but I’m also hesitant with things like furniture where the photos can be quite misleading.
