Addicted to doing this new thing I made up where I weave washi tape kinda like a little basket lol. On the first one I put the tape down on one page, and then carved the heart and other shapes with an exacto knife on the page on top of it. I haven’t decided what to do with the second one tho ☠️

Does anyone have any critique for this piece I’m working on? It’s supposed to be me, i don’t really know how to explain the meaning but i have a biopsy scar on my back and I drew the dogwood blossoms from my childhood home growing out of it, i really like it but it just feels empty so i guess i just don’t know what else to add really 🙁
I don’t really know how to articulate this question but what were you guy’s experience coming out to your parents like, if you have one? My dad doesn’t know bc he’s a complete POS but my mom knows that me and my fiancé are engaged (we’re both women/lesbians) and she pretends to be happy for me but you can tell she really hates that she’s not a man. When I first told her she tried to imply that she “failed as a homeschool mom” bc she tried to shelter me or whatever even though that’s bullshit. I’m just glad my gf then (fiancé now) helped me through the process of moving out bc i really don’t think i would have been able to escape otherwise and i think that’s part of why she hates her so much, I feel like my mom just wanted to keep me locked away from the world for the rest of my life bc she thought somehow that would stop me from becoming “woke” I guess (she also hates the way I dress and my pink hair).

I love ‘59 Barbie even tho she’s not even my favorite, I just have good luck finding her 😭 the ornament and doll are thrifted and then I found the popmart Barbie series in target today. I also have the life sized replica version of her sunglasses for myself
