Happy interlocking fields of double canister grape shot day to all those who celebrate!
July 1975 issue of Owl and Weasel, the precursor of White Dwarf, would become known as “the Dungeons & Dragons issue” as it would cover the game extensively and note that Games Workshop would soon be distributing it in the UK.

RIP John Blanche, Warhammer Legend
Just heard the very sad news about the passing of John Blanche. It is hard to understate just how pivotal his contribution to Warhammer, tabletop gaming and the cultural development of gaming in the UK and beyond, is.
Had to select one flair but could have used pretty much all of them, that’s his influence.
It is no understatement to say many millions of people have, and will, enjoy, knowingly or not, the fruits of his prodigious talent. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
I was lucky enough to meet him and interview him for my book and he was both thoughtful and generous with his time.
RIP John, you legend.
Hello all. I'm writing a history of how Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader came to be - and how that you can learn from if you're a game creator. Check out the project page for it. Thanks
exploringwarhammer.substack.comA video of me taking a look though The Second Citadel Compendium from 1984.
I have posted the full article link here before, but thought some might find the video here interesting. Also I was trying out a new set-up to make the video, so feedback is welcomed! Thanks
