Anyone notice how we can never have Gambit and Nightcrawler at the same time? As my two favorite characters it’s beyond frustrating. One is always dead or MIA while the other is active.

It feels so weird that Gaga hasn’t done anything for AHS 13. She was only in two seasons, but had immediate impact and carried an entire season. She was basically a stand-in for Jessica Lange’s departure. I’m an avid fan and have followed her since 2009 and everything she’s done for her Mayhem era is finished. Surprise cameos are out - we would’ve known by now and Ryan 100% wouldn’t have been able to keep quiet about it.

So I wonder if they just don’t really see eye to eye? She was filmed arguing (ish) with production in her documentary because she felt she wasn’t given good instruction and didn’t want to fuck up the character (Scathach). And we literally haven’t heard anything from her and Ryan since.

I’m always up extremely high, the seating is impossibly vertical and dangerous. I always try to leave the arena for food or the bathroom but get stuck and/or fall and the I wake up.

Replaying Eternal and just noticed this Xenomorph Queen looking homage demon perched in chains above the ripatorium entrance.

I want to see it. I want to fight it.

Anyone remember A*Teens of ABBA cover fame? Sara Lumholdt Looks so much like a real life Vanessa it makes my head spin. I would've cast her in the live action on looks alone and worried about acting later.

Hey all! I’m going to try for the Atlantis set, but really only because I want Milo. Does anyone else only want Kida? I’m normally an in box collector but this particular set I wouldn’t mind just having Milo, no box.

She’s in perfect condition, but missing her box. I don’t collect Swarovski and just happened to end up with her so selling her is the best option for me. I see her fetching some decent prices on EBay but I honestly hate EBay/Paypal. Any ideas are appreciated!

After all these years, she still blows me away! I left her at a friends house in 6th grade and he moved that week…never saw her again. I never got over it so I bought her new in box on eBay about 11 years ago for 60 bucks! I think the kick mechanism is a flop and she has…a lot going on but more is more in this case. She’s of the few Beast Wars I actually have trouble deciding whether or not I should keep her in beast mode as it’s so incredible.

If the Devs had more resources and time I feel like something like Slattern from Pacific Rim would’ve been absolutely perfect. It’s very Lovecraftian but demonic and not just an oversized version of an existing demon. Maybe they chose to keep Xal’Goroth as a giant Elemental on their own accord (but I feel like it was more of a budget/time thing) but this feels like what we were going to encounter when finally entering that green fog.

But I’m also just a Pacific Rim fanatic so the Demon meets Lovecraftian designs of the Kaiju just works for the Cosmic Realm perfectly for me.

…except for one notable Walmart exclusive. I hate Walmart exclusives so much…I don’t know why companies keep using them for that.

ANYWAY they’re so cute!!! I can’t pick, they all just go together. I thought I’d dislike Blaze the most but she turned out to be one of the most fun!

Without having to trudge through the whole level again. Maybe that’s the intent, but I love fighting all the bosses and would rather skip the brutal nonsense beforehand to get to them after I’ve already played the game multiple times in full. The bosses are all so unique and fun (and obnoxious at times). Davoth is the only one you can get right to because he has his own level. Pics for fun.

I didn’t expect this to be a 40 dollar card (they gave me a good deal) but when I saw it I had to have it. It’s one of the most beautiful cards I’ve ever seen. I would say it’s completely underrated but apparently not, given the current price 🫠 I’m super proud of this beauty, though!

I adore Akiko. But I feel like they took so much away from her. She was meant to have cat eyes and cat ears. Her plastic shoes also bug me - Shai got fabric leg warmers…why not Akiko? I’ve seen people say it’s because of the buckle design, but she literally has the exact same buckle around her thigh. They could’ve given her fabric leg warmers and a couple of those plastic buckles to put around them. I guess it could be worse…she could be Amora (poor girl literally got scraps from the brudget).

The way it starts as vines on her feet by her garden shoes, transitions to smokey patterns up her legs and finally clouds on her face. It’s like an Earth to sky transition.

So I went to a well-known toy store in Dallas and saw that they had a Kindom Tigatron loose. I bought him, as mine is horribly yellowed (as they all seem to be).

The one in the left is the new one. The one on the right is my original store bought one. The new one I got from the toy store, other than being pristine white, has the Maximal symbol on his head instead of being all red, has red eyes instead of natural eyes on his tiger head, stripes on his robot head and a black nose instead of pink on his tiger head. Is this a variant from another country perhaps or just a straight up bootleg? Seems weird if it's a bootleg that they'd actually make him NICER (maximal symbol etc).

These are incredible dolls. The fabrics, attention to detail…it almost makes you wonder how they can mass produce them and sell them for 30 dollars.

They most likely can’t. This is the first line of a brand new doll series for MGA. MGA tends to come out of the gate swinging and then waters their product down as time goes on, or cancels the line all together. There were a lot of think pieces that claimed MGA actually made little money off of Rainbow High in its early heyday because of the soft goods and general quality while selling them for under 30 dollars. And it’s been extremely bland for 2-3 years now (maybe even cancelled at this point).

All this to say - I see so many posts saying Mirror Mi is going to force Mattel to step it up and make Monster High better…they won’t. That’s not how any of this works. Monster High is exactly where Mattel wants it - they have zero to prove with it, as it’s an established 16 year old brand and seems to be a steady seller. MGA has everything to prove with Mirror Mi. And once it becomes successful, we will begin to see the dumb-down of it and corners being cut on future lines, guaranteed.

Enjoy the line while it’s at its peak. Who knows who long we’ll see this level of detail or how long the line will even last. MGA and Mattel are very different companies - Mattel seems much more hesitant to create entirely new lines and seems to rest on Monster High, Barbie and their IPs. MGA does have Bratz and OMG but they fairly regularly try brand new lines that rarely work out in the long run (Rainbow High being an exception, but again, they did shoot themselves in the foot in the beginning).
