28% IRR in positional trading in 6 years since I started investing, am I just lucky or I do have skills?

I started investing in 2020. It started with loss and negative returns in the first year.

But each of my years is better than the previous. So 2026 has been my best year of my positional trading career.

I try to find multi-baggers asap when the rally starts and exit them before the rally ends.

Some of the stocks I am currently invested in, for example, are MU and SNDK. I earlier had NVDA, which I exited 6 months ago.

I do wonder if I'm just lucky or if I will be able to get these kinds of returns over the decades?

I don't have decade of experience to be confident about my strategy

Has anyone left Berlin for slightly smaller city for more peaceful life?

I work remotely and make decent money. My apartment lease is ending soon, and I also got single recently. I have lived here for around 5 years, and I feel things are just getting crazier here. I don't think things will improve here in the future.

I have shortlisted these cities (Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne, Düsseldorf) as the next possible home. I don't expect any of these places to be perfect, but I hope for less chaos than Berlin.

Has anyone tried such an experiment? Where did you move to? How was your experience?

Update: Since many people asked, I will try to describe my definition of chaos. It's not a single factor. Just a general feeling:

  1. Drug problem

  2. Homelessness

  3. Too much anonymity

  4. Public transports always over-crowded

  5. Too many cars everywhere

  6. Hard to find an apartment

  7. Shady landlords

  8. Commute time is so much

  9. Concrete jungle instead of cute traditional houses

  10. Lack of nature (compared to Munich, for example)

I hate UI's where labels are replaced with icons

I work in tech. But I just don't find them intuitive. I am always moving my mouse around and searching for the correct button

I am a man and I have been in relationships before so I don't think I will die alone. I recently got single.

But I get rejected a lot on first dates.

I know it's not end of the world. But I cannot control how I feel.

I went on a date last night which didn't end good for me. I took a long sad walk home after that. Went to bed right away. Didn't sleep at all. Now feeling so sad and cold and have no desire to leave bed or work.

I know it's not end of the world but I feel very sad after each dating rejections. I have a feeling it will happen a lot before I will find someone again.

How do I stay strong?

Update: I don't need advice on how to become more attractive. I need advice on how to stay strong after dating rejections.

  1. Landlords have zero professionalism. One landlord called me "salty". One sent rape threats towards my mother (I am a man) because we had some communication issue

  2. Viewings are often in middle of day and there are always a lot of people. I feel I will get fired from my job if I keep going to them. Since there are ton of people coming to those viewings, chances of getting apt are almost zero even if I take the risk and go to them by taking a break from work.

  3. People demanding bribery as commission when they are just subletting and are not even the owner. Some are forcing you to buy shitty furniture at over price.

  4. Ridiculously over-pricey furnished apartment. One apt I found was asking around 75% of cold rent as furniture surcharge.

  5. Demanding private documents before even viewing. Zero data protection.

  6. Horrible contract terms. I finally got an offer yesterday and received the contract. There was some shitty conditions in the contract, one stood out. I asked the landlord for clarification. He said it's the German law. When I shared articles proving it's not the law, he withdrew the contract. He was just trying to exploit others.

  7. One time I had a viewing where landlord explained how he agreed with German tenant protection law and then explained how he plans to circumvent them.

  8. I already had bad experience with hausverwaltung in my current apartment.

Honestly, Germany has started to feel like a 3rd world country. Landlords here are truly scum.
