im ok with no translation and any console is fine because im studying japanese and want it to be japanese since i am practicing
so i like games like super robot taisen and its spin offs like mugen frontier and also pxz and forgot that one game namco vs sometjing which is on my wishlist. the thing i like about them is the music , and thier attacks and lines which gets me pumped
disagea for its humor . not too bothered with the grind but wishing that it wasnt too grindy so i can watch the side quests story without too much delay
i love visual novel like sci adv (chaos steins), clannad
i like monster hunter and have played them including stories
i do like pokemon and enjoy the pvp

what can you guys recommend me ? i repeat i am not scared if theres no translation

i think chaining is one of those mechanic? what other mechanic do people most of the time get wrong.

is magnetic detector and wands really that harmful towards the ally? what about other handhelds like steam deck ayaneo odin and phones.
i always thought xray would be more harmful to device than those.
are there any safe way to safeguard against these magnetic detector or wand

i have a skull and co dock with 3 ports hdmi, usbc and usb a on the back. do i need to buy a new dock if ill be using a portable monitor?

what else do i need if i want to lay down in bed and use the portable monitor . do i just need a stand? i know i can just use handheld mode since it was meant to be used that way.

so i mainly use anki to study japanese on my phone and rarely on my pc(but good to have the options to do it on that machine) but i need my pc because anki and yomitan and other tools is only available on pc.

so i have completed download some games but not every game since i dont have the space to store all and decided to transfer the completed games to my portable hdd. so now i want to download more games but its saying missing files and the torrent is now highlighted in red which i would assume is bad.

1. whats the best front end that is not too minimalist maybe a few icons would do.
2. how should i configure retroarch or other emu to give me the most original/retro look of a game like what shader, control overlay and video aspect. does using black border when we have the aspect too small have burn in or other screen issues later on? also how do you save eaxh settings by core. when i tried out to save controller overlay it uses the same one for all the cores
3. what emu or retroarch core do you guys recommend for each of the system.
4. when playing 2d games what settings do i need to change to achieve clearer text and hd graphics. i know earlier i want to have a retro feel but maybe sometimes ill try out hd

so im running win11 with apollo and my mobile device running artemis cant see it. they can see the host if i turn off my firewall

when i installed apollo there was no pop up prompt to allow it on the firewall like how i remembered it when i installed it on my other win11 device or maybe im just misremembering the pop up prompt. anyone can confirm thta i should be getting a pop up prompt when first launched?

note: at one point i did have both apollo and sunshine at the same time then uninstalled sunshine

my rog can ping my laptop and my phones ip no problem.

so on armored core 3 when emulating why is it that using software renderer gives me full speed but other option like vulkan opengl gives me shitty speed.
also i tried the vulkan with disable depth and it gives me speed close to software renderer just not as fast as software renderer

does using the above method tax the hardware? like if im playing on steamdeck or any handheld pc will it drain the battery much faster?
