booking dot com says it's non-refundable, but we are just not comfortable enough to spend the night here. Is there any way to get our money back?

From what I've gathered, it's somewhat of a straightforward process, and not that many people are having issues nowadays, still, I want to be as cautious as possible, so I'll disable windows updates, fast boot and secure boot, but I want to know what else I should do to prevent windows from killing grub or my linux partition

The Central American Line connects Panama with Cancun, it's ~4,800 KM long and corresponds with The Gulf Line
The Gulf Line connects Cancun with Miami, it's ~9,800 KM Long and corresponds with The CenAm Line.

I want to get a docking station so I don't have to replug my whole set up every time I come home from uni, as long as it has hdmi and 4 usb a ports it's fine
This issue used to happen on my phone but magically fixed itself, it now happens only on my laptop. My flat provides 2 wifi connections, the good one committed suicide a couple of days ago so I'm forced to use the bad one.
Websites take a long time to load, +40s on a good day, even worse for sites like whatsapp or discord that have to download tons of stuff. But oddly enough, video streams just fine. VC connection on discord fails every time and online gaming is terrible.

I'm currently working on a comic where superheroes work for the NSA to keep the country safe, but they're incompetent, to say the least, plus all of the crimes and stuff they've committed irl would get discussed deeply.
In short words, I'm criticizing American imperialism, government intrusion into it's people's lives, war, etc, etc.
I'm worried that'd get me in trouble but if I change too much stuff I feel like the message wouldn't get across to the reader.
