I graduated recently and currently waiting for my EAD card. I don’t have any jobs lined up. I knew it was a scammer from the first because i don’t have any account in the Chase Bank and they were saying based on my credit, i was eligible for something something(pure Indian Accent). So i listened for like 20-30 seconds and laughed at them saying i know there were scammers and hung up. I received the call because I have been applying for so many jobs so i was waiting for some miracle call.

Now i want to report the number to the police cause i want them get caught or something. If i call LAPD(I’m from LA) and tell them this and then my status that i’m graduated but waiting for my EAD(official graduation is on 21 May), will it be a problem for me?

Hi, i'm a tenant at a house. My landlord and landlady are fine but they have a vile-nasty teenage daughter. I had a fight with her last week and today i found out that my iphone and my academic laptop couldn't connect to the wifi at all since i woke up. I thought may be it's a wifi issue since sometimes it happens for a few minutes, but when it didn't get corrected after many hours but i kept hearing loud anime streaming noises from her room, i took out another laptop of mine that i don't use much and could connect to the internet perfectly. I asked chatgpt what to do and after turning off the private network access on both, i could connect to the internet. I also tried to look up the MAC address to check if i'm blocked but it says i need to download the Spectrum app to check anything but i don't have the username/password. Do you think she blocked me or was it a problem from my end?

So my name ends with an "a". The "a" is pronounced as ae/e not aa. I hope you got it. When i tried to put the pronunciation of my name in Tassel, the ai was making mistakes repeatedly so i even voice-recorded my name so it'll be called out correctly. I was already kinda sad that everyone was running marathons as there were too many people and no one got their time to pose/take in their moment at the stage, sad. Then i heard my name being mispronounced, double sad. Then when i went to shake hands, I couldn't find President Erica and it was a short lady who kinda gave me a short wave and I waved back? I was so taken aback by this, I kept thinking if I really didn't shake hands/posed with anyone or not. Then I saw my live clip and yes I was right, I kinda just passed through the stage as nothing was offered? TRIPLE SAD!

I know I'm being dramatic but it's a very special moment and I had high hopes....

I can't watch a video in peace now. Every 5-10 seconds the video would buffer. I have a stable internet connection and literally nothing buffers except for Youtube. What to do now? I hate to watch anything under 480p as I feel like I am not getting the full experience (unless it's filmed that way) so I'd like to receive your input on what to do.

Since different programs are having different dates for graduation ceremonies, can i please borrow the graduation gown for Master’s from someone please? I have my hooding ceremony tomorrow and i’d like to wear that from 5PM. I can return by 8PM as the event is supposed to commence by 8PM, or i can return it on Friday/Saturday! (I ordered the plain black one from Amazon)

My parents got me a 100% full sequin gold floor length gown for me for my graduation gift. I do like sequins but i think this is too much sequins for a grad ceremony but i do like the dress but i dont want to look like a weirdo/joker. What to do now? Should i tell them to return it or should i wear it? Did anyone wear such sequin bling bling dress before in the ceremony or anyone planning to?

I’m an international student and don’t drive. So the matacard on my phone has been a big help whenever i needed to use a photo id. Will i lose it in 2 weeks?

I'm flying to Toronto in a few hours. My backpack is a little over their dimensions, so I'm a little worried. I'm going from LA to Toronto and I have no checked-in luggage/cabin luggage with me. Since the backpack is the only thing i'm carrying, it has exceeded the dimensions but it's not too jumbo size like the hiking ones. Is there any chance that i might be in trouble?

I’m going to Toronto tomorrow for a dream tour. I’m graduating this semester, on May 16. I live in LA. When i booked my tickets, i was pretty chill but now I’m nervous. I applied for opt in March. I also came back from my home country in Jan last week and it was pretty chill that time. Is it so chill now as well? I’m going to face the immigration at Toronto airport it seems. I just need some reassurance from someone who has faced the immigration from Toronto any time or immigration in the US during the last 2 months.

Do i need to pay anything extra?? My current plan will renew after 2 weeks but i'm going there next week.
