What’s with endo/ovarian cyst+pooping? My lower abdomen hurts so much till i poop!

Let’s talk about just last night. I slept at 11.30 pm and by 2.30 am i woke up with such bad lower abdomen pain it felt like my whole body was on fire. I pooped and only after that my pain reduced to like 6/10. After 3 hours of hotbag and statue position and a magnesium supplement, my pain finally reduced enough to let me sleep at 6 am. Even when i feel like I’m not ready to poop, my lower abdomen hurts so much, gets hard and i feel so bad and only after trying so much and finally pooping, i can feel some ease. For this, i am pooping 2-3 times a day now whereas i used to poop only once a day before. I got diagnosed with a 5.1 cm endometrioma last month and since then this problem has started. Do you also feel the same?

Olive View UCLA or Harbor UCLA - which ER may have a lesser waiting time and better GYN care?

I suffer from severe endometriosis and during my last period, my pain flared up so severely that I had to go to the ER of Olive. It seems my condition has worsen from my reports and i may need to visit ER again during my next period for pain management. At Olive, I was there for over 17 hours for urine, blood, CT scan and ultrasound. All the procedures took 3-5 minutes each so I spent 16.5 hours in the waiting room chairs, which made me sicker the following days with back pain and so on. I have been referred to a GYN appointment there, which will be in mid-August. I want to spend less time in the waiting room in case i end up in the ER again. Does Harbor have lesser waiting time than Olive?

What shrunk your endometrioma?

I tried dinogest before and it completely shrunk my endometrioma from 4 cm to almost none in almost a year. Now i’m in the US, the endometrioma came back and i can’t use dinogest here as it’s not FDA approved and my insurance will not cover it. Doctor gave me 0.35 mg Norethindrone but i’m skeptical. I’m in so much pain with my 5 cm endometrioma! I’m taking ibuprofen twice everyday for almost a month now…i feel like dying…

How to comment anonymously like others in FB groups? Tried the lower arrow beside profile but it doesn't work.

In FB groups, public or private, i see almost everyone commenting anonymously, even when i click/hover their profile, it says the person has commented anonymously but it's just me who can't do that! I have seen other posts and articles before where it says i need to click the lower arrow sign beside my profile while commenting but it doesn't work for me. It lets me create a page instead! I still tried and ended up creating a page, not an anonymous comment! I don't like sharing my info/profile with others when i comment to make others view my profile. I really want to use the anonymous feature but can't! What to do?

Severe lower abdomen and hip pain/pelvic pain

Asian, 27F, 170lb, 5’5

Hi, I am an international student in the US, graduated in May and my health insurance also ended with that. I was doing well before but from June I am having severe abdomen to vagina to hip pain. Sometimes my right kidney hurts too.

I have a history of ovarian cyst. I had them in 2022 and started taking progestin pill/natazia since then for 3 years. My cyst was gone by 2023 but i still took them to stop its recurrence. My last ultrasound was in 2026 January and since it showed no cyst, i finally stopped taking pills.

I was also diagnosed with fibroid in 2022 with the ovarian cyst. My fibroid was 2.4 cm in my last report of 2026.

Whenever i pee, my whole abdomen hurts, pelvis hurts, hip hurts. Whenever i poop, it hurts more. But i’m pooping 2-3 times a day and pooping makes me feel less bloated.

My pain is giving me flashbacks of 2022 when i was diagnosed with ovarian cyst and fibroid. My periods are very painful but not too heavy. I just dealt with an extremely painful period this month and managed it with ibuprofens.

Now i’m at lost what to do. I live in Los Angeles. When i did my ultrasound last time, it costed around $350 and my insurance paid 90% of it. I can’t bear the cost anymore as i am unemployed. I can’t leave the country to go do tests in my home as my EAD card hasn’t arrived yet. What should i do? I am so scared of taking ibuprofens everyday! (I only take it on days the pain is too much)

Where can i get ultrasound of abdomen without insurance?

I have a history of ovarian cyst and endometriosis. I was doing well before but suddenly for 2 weeks now I am dealing with severe abdomen and hip pain. I am an international student and I graduated just last month. My insurance also ended in May. When i had my insurance, i was perfectly fine but the pain started from June and it’s a lot. I can’t pay much for the ultrasound as i have no job. Where can i get it done for free or in low cost? I dont qualify for Medi-Cal as i’m not a citizen.

Is there a limit to change MAC address?

I have to change my mac address 5-10 times a day. Is there a possibility that i may run out of random MAC addresses? Is it limited or unlimited? My laptop gets restricted on my home wifi automatically and only changing the MAC addresses work. But i have noticed sometimes changing some mac addresses doesn’t help and after changing a few times i get connected to my home wifi. That made me wonder if there are limitations on changing mac addresses or not, like there are only 50 mac addresses that the software changes to?

Silenced (2011) — It Broke Me

Trigger Warning: Child Abuse, Molestation

I just finished watching the highly acclaimed Korean film Silenced (2011), and it left me emotionally devastated. As an empathetic person, I couldn’t hold back tears throughout.

The story follows a new art teacher who moves to a rural town called Mujin to teach art to hearing-impaired children. He quickly notices that the children seem vigilant, often bruised, which raises his concerns. When he voices his worries, he’s met with dismissiveness from others. As the story unfolds, he uncovers horrifying truths about the abuse happening to these vulnerable children.

This film contains many disturbing scenes that were very hard for me to watch. The emotional weight is intense, and I found myself crying sometimes(because this movie is based on real incidents). Despite the difficult content, I believe it’s an incredibly important film. The trigger warning probably gave away some of the plot, but I’m glad that the film’s revelations led to widespread public outrage.

Silenced (also known as The Crucible) is one of the most culturally significant South Korean films in modern history. Its release sparked a national movement, leading to a reinvestigation of the crimes depicted and prompting a major overhaul of South Korean laws surrounding child protection and abuse.

If you’re prepared for a heavy, emotional experience, I highly recommend watching it—though be warned, it’s not easy but I believe it’s a vital watch for raising awareness and fostering change. It's available on Netflix and other platforms. The acting of the children and the main cast is phenomenal.

How to get rid of tiny cockroach from the kitchen?

We remodelled the house and since then our kitchen has become a cockroach den! Every time we turn the light on we see hundreds of tiny roaches running around. It’s disgusting! How to get rid of them without spending hundreds of dollars on pest control services? I live in LA.

Is there no hard punishment for juvenile offenders?

I'm watching Teach You A Lesson kdrama and i'm surprised to learn that Korea does not have many strict laws for juvenile offenders(and of course bullies). After I watched the episode(of course i know they added more drama), I did some online digging and it does seem like that from the surface. So juveniles can do whatever they want and will be dealt with less severe punishment because of their age? This seems bullshit. I guess that's why bullying is so rampant in Korea?

Walmart split payment refund question: gift card + credit card

I have a $20 walmart gift card that I want to use on a Walmart order.

My Walmart cart total is around $37.84(without tax). One item is a doorknob for $17.80. I am not 100% sure if the doorknob will fit, so I may need to return it later.

If I use the $20 gift card first and pay the remaining balance with my credit card, what happens if I return the $18 doorknob?

Will Walmart refund the $19 to my credit card since I paid part of the order with my credit card? Or will the refund go back to the gift card/original payment method?

I want the refund to go back to my credit card, not the gift card.

Has anyone done this before with Walmart split payment? How did the refund work?

How to bypass admin block from home wifi network? (got permission from landlord who pays)

I live as a tenant in a household. My landlord pays the wifi bill(spectrum) and he has no problem with me using the wifi. But his daughter keeps blocking me from admin access. I have to do all my work online, i stream a lot, research a lot and without wifi it's getting really hard even though i enrolled in to my phone's unlimited data plan. I mostly use my laptop all day. I have been changing my mac/hardware access every 20-120 minutes(anytime she blocks me) or forgetting and reconnecting to the network so many times a day, need to restart the router 3-4 times a day just to bypass this admin block. Every few days, my landlord and landlady fight with their daughter to give me access, she'll let me use a few hours and then block me again! I, along with my landlord called spectrum and told them our situation. They told us they can give the admin access to my landlord by resetting everything but their daughter is an aggressive person and they are legit worried how she might behave with them if they remove her(we won't call police for this). My landlord has agreed to let me use his id to get discounted wifi plan as he's a senior citizen, has medicaid, ssi, everything. I saw the human i-t plan but i can't pay for the $75 charge for the hotspot device along with monthly bill and their speed seems slow.

I am an international student in the US so i can't work outside and on-campus i work only 14 hours for minimum wage with only covers my rent(i came with almost full tuition waived with scholarships). My parents send me my monthly groceries and all other costs. I also don't have work now because it's summer and my parents are paying for everything. I come from a poor country so it's already so hard for us. To pay for a wifi that costs $40-60 is out of the question for me(i'm in California). Please help me with solutions, i feel so depressed....

Cheapest home internet ideal for streaming for a senior citizen?

I know this family of a very nice, humble senior citizen and his wife. They have medi-cal and get some assistance from the government. The male senior works part-time but his wife doesn’t. They qualify for low income household. They spend their days streaming shows on their phone and laptop as it’s kinda hard for them to move. Their son used to pay for their wifi before but he has stopped all communications and they need wifi urgently. Please suggest lowest cost high speed internet for them. I checked human i-t but it seems they need to pay for the hotspot too($75+$15) and the speed isn’t great. I asked them about $25/month spectrum low income plan but they said if they can get something for free or within $15, it’d be great. Please recommend what you think would be best for them. (Their zip 91402)

“No internet, secured” on laptop when wifi is working perfectly on all other devices! Need to restart my router multiple times to fix it.

I live in a townhouse, 3rd floor and the router is on the basement. This is a shared space with other working professionals. My windows laptop shows “no internet, secured” twice/thrice everyday and while forgetting the network and reconnecting works most of the time, atleast every 2 days i need to restart the router, sometimes more than once to get it connected. This kinda annoys everyone else and i also don’t like to do that. Ethernet and my cellular hotspot works(sometimes doesn’t)on the laptop. What could be a permanent fix? Vpn is not on. Network drivers are working properly & updated. No one has blocked/whitelisted me from spectrum.
