First game I've properly stuck with in years.
I'd usually drop things after a week, this one just kept going.
Got through the swamp, made it back with the iron, drowned twice carrying ore because apparently I never learn.
Playing solo is fine but a bit quiet. Half the fun is having someone to show the base to.
Thanks for the "play it slowly" advice last time, that was the one that stuck.
No mods. No plugins. No QoL patches. That is the entire pitch.
Ulvgard is a small vanilla server opening the day Valheim 1.0 lands, with ten slots and one season played from a clean start. Everyone begins with nothing on the same morning.

Who it is for
People who want to play the game slowly with the same faces, rather than a server that hands you flight and a marketplace in the first hour. If you want god-tier tools there are excellent modded servers out there and this is not one of them.
There is also a community side to it that is not tied to the server: a place for questions, builds and finding people to play with, whether or not you ever join the world.
Ten slots means most people who want in will not get in this season. That is not scarcity marketing, it is what ten means.
It is small right now. That is what the first month of anything looks like.
I started a week ago, gotta love the game, raw, brute.
I didn’t knew about mods till I saw something on reddit.
Tested a few, like auto repair and some inventory to detect all my resources near a workbence so i can build without having them in my inventory.
Now, I played without and feels strange.

Everything is unbelieveble, I don’t know why I avoided it for so many years.
Sadly I play on a mac and doesn’t perform the best, looking to move to a shadowpc so I can add a few mods.
Cheers to the dev, even if they won’t continue developing after 1.0 ( this is what I heard ).
And for the e community, just thank you for the lessons, most impprtant thing Iearned from reddit is just to play it slowly.
Recent am descoperit acest joc, mi se pare ireal si ceva ce am cautat mult timp.
Am inceput sa joc cu un prieten, experienta e wow.
Am vrea sa extindem server pe care jucam, sa strangem o comunitate de cativa players, sa share the world and enjoy it.
Nu e reclama la nimic, pur si simplu in cautare de coechipieri.

What you don’t recommend to a new player?
For years, with a friend we've been looking for a good survival game, we checked so many and none of them felt like "the one".
Two days ago, I asked here if it's worth it anymore.
You said yes, I bought it, and all I can say is that, this game is just amazing.
The "childhood feelings" are back, I feel like that again and obsessed to finish work, daily routine to be able to play for 2-3 hours.
So for this community and game developers, thank you for bringing gaming joy back to me.

Any tips, worth buying to play with a friend?
So many of you know that on August 27 we’re going to have some news about GTA 6.
I can’t say much, this will be deleted by mods probably supet fast (yeah some of them are working for rockstar) but one thing I’m allowed to say is that at the beggining and end of the trailer, we’re going to see the rockstar logo.
I know some won’t believe, but whatever.

Stiu ca nu se compara cu japonezele, dar nici bugetul meu nu este in pragurile respective.
As vrea ceva pentru campie / dealuri, nu enduro / cross hardcore.
As vrea sa aud feedback, pareri, mai ales daca avem persoane care detin unu din acele modele.
Am 1.90 inaltime si cam 85kg, dupa tot research pe care l-am facut, cam ala e ce am gasit pe baza bugetului.

Hello, nou in lumea de PC.
Ideea e ca de vreo 10 ani sunt pe Mac, pentru gaming am un PS5 dar simt ca e momentul sa fac un upgrade.
Nu am avut niciodata un PC performant, ultimul PC (nu laptop) a fost acum vreo 20 ani si imi amintesc ca avea cam 512 mb ram.
Ideea e ca am un buget de aprox 6000 lei.
Realist stiu ca cer mult, dar as vrea sa ma tina urmatorii 3-4 ani (daca e posibil).
Ma puteti ajuta sa aleg componentele?
