First image is the context essential the person who quoted the original tweet was criticizing the mother posting a punishment video online rather than get the child professional help since the child clearly needs it.

However one particular commenter was saying some stuff of how its “too late for him” and “abusers are a lost cause” I criticized this mentality since the kid looked around 10-12 and what he did was clearly a sign of underlying mental health issues/a sign of abusive actions perpetuating the cycle. However the person was saying that it doesn’t matter how abusers are created all “defective” humans should be exterminated.

Before I go into how atrocious of a mentality that is I’m reminding you that the kid looks about 10-12.

But essentially this person, and many other people in the original post replies and quotes, were essentially saying that the kid doesn’t deserve to be viewed as human anymore and simply as an abuser, and anyone who shows signs of abusive behavior, no matter how young or their mental health issues should be exterminated because they are “defective”. They blocked me before I could respond to this “perspective”.

Not only is that an atrocious way to view people with mental health issues it’s especially horrible to think that on a child.

I’m not saying what the child did was right, but I’m saying that not getting professional help and instead recording and posting a punishment video of it online would only make any underlying issues worse and physiological research supports this assertion.

I’ll always be against a parent posting a punishment video of their child online but I’m especially against how certain people will treat the kids who are getting punished.
