Basically everyone is unified in hating the new formula. It just hit Europe apparently so they are going through the same thing the US did last november.

Im sure im not alone in this, Huel was something i used to actively crave, now it’s just something i drink to forget im hungry. It’s mediocre, flavorless, the powder doesn’t even hydrate properly, which is why the texture is abhorrent now.

All of the flavors suck in the US now. My friend who I got into huel quit and gave me all of his bags when the formula changed which i promptly threw in the trash. His whole family was drinking huel, and now it’s not a staple for him.

I felt bad for getting my friend into Huel and then not even a month later this happens. It looks bad on me, but more importantly, you ruined someone’s impression of your company.

Between the lead scare, the formula change, and constant inconsistencies in your powder, im at the very end of my rope. I havent ordered in months and doubt i will any time soon, even with a $30 coupon that you gave me because I got a bag that tasted like chemicals.

Tl;dr: the new formula sucks, people in my real life agree, this subreddit agrees, can we just go back to the old formula before you drive this company into the ground?

P.S. I wouldnt even mind paying a little bit more for better ingredients.

Like we take the ethics of it all out of the equation. Why would anybody want that? From where i’m standing, having a child feels like robbing yourself of having a cool adult social life. Your entire life basically revolves around your child.

You’re basically sentencing yourself to more than a decade of babysitting.

Looking to play runescape on the go with a cell tablet. Mainly just want the ability to multitask, and play runescape. Hopefully something not too crazy price-wise, that wont go out of date super fast.

I feel like this has been one of the biggest ways ive been able to cut calories with huel. Huel is a desserty treat, and usually i will still be craving something savory if i replace a meal anyways. You get to cut a bunch of empty calories and added sugars by swapping like Ice Cream for a huel shake.

So far I have tried water, Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, water with a splash of half and half, oat milk, and coffee.

So far my favorite is without a doubt oatly, it makes it a lot more creamy. Almond milk didn’t do much. Coffee was surprisingly subtle, the Huel flavor overpowered the coffee quite a bit, but its my second fav.

I think on average, Scifi stories are better suited for tv than movies. Sure there are outliers, but i find that good scifi stories are often pretty long and have a lot of information to get across to the viewer.

I really hope that my favorite scifi books get adapted into mini series’ or TV shows rather than movies, especially Hyperion.

Im making under minimum wage randomly this week. Are people’s pocketbooks really hurting right now, or is it just my market?

Aside from connoisseur folk, i don’t really see the point in investing in grow equipment and putting all of the labor it takes into growing. I noticed locally, grow stores are going out of business left and right. We recently lost Nectar for the Gods’ here in Eugene. What do y’all think?

As a SciFi head I dont ever get stacked shows like this. So stoked.

Been producing music since I was 16, im almost 30 now. I was never classically trained, kinda have just been learning through noodling.

I feel like ive made legitimate progress in some ways, but in a lot of other ways i feel like im just throwing spaghetti at the wall hoping something sticks. In fact a lot of my favorite things ive done musically have been legitimate accidents that i build stuff around.

Is music theory what I’m missing? If so, does anybody have any recommendations on where to start? I usually get overwhelmed when I look into it, and adult music lessons are kind of rare and expensive here.

If you are unaware, services like UberEats, Doordash, and Grubhub are often a trap for their employees. They often start you out with good pay through some intro special, and then before you know it you’re making well under minimum wage with no benefits or PTO.

Washington decided enough was enough and gave rideshare drivers a more fair gig. They get PTO and employment protections. People who live in Portland will literally drive up to Washington to receive these benefits.

Ive been trapped in gig jobs for almost 10 years now, and whenever someone looks at my resume i get funny looks because most of my resume is gigwork, even though i have a degree.

Would highly recommend avoiding this work unless you live somewhere like portland where it’s more busy. Can we urge our Oregon politicians to fight for gig workers like Washington?

New trek watcher here, Just finished TNG, then subsequently watched Voyager. I went into voyager not really expecting to like it that much, but by the end of it, I became more fond of Janeway than Picard.

Janeway's role as mentor to Seven completes her character, while simultaneously introducing one of the most interesting characters in all of Trek, Seven. I adore Data, but I feel like Seven is a more thoughtful interpretation of a lot of the same ideas that were conveyed by Data's character. Seven's first season flew by, because it had some of the best character moments in Trek. Also Seven's episode with the other individual drone made both me and my partner cry real tears.

I would cry real tears if we got Star Trek: Janeway. I hate that we didn't get a single Janeway movie. Next on the menu is DS9, which I'm looking forward to, but also sort of nervous for, because it will be my first venture into non-episodic trek.

Ive been going to practically every thrift store in town pretty frequently, but the prices places like saint vinny’s have are absurd. Even facebook marketplace has gotten out of hand. Ive had some luck just going around student apartments that are being cleaned out though.

Any other suggestions?
