I’m from the north of Telangana, i live in Hyderabad for my job, i am a non vegetarian who drinks occasionally and doesn’t smoke.

I’m someone who keeps improving himself everyday, no matter how good something is, i will obsess over the minute details and try to fix them as well.

I’m slowly and let’s say successfully improving on that because it used to affect my deadlines and trying to achieve perfection.

I’m someone who loves to try new things out and that’s how i ended up as a foodie who’s explored tons of places and has made a list of great places and dishes 🥸, i want to travel the whole world one day and taste every cuisine i can, one day.

I started going to the gym last year and transforming my physical appearance and unfortunately got a tendon injury in my forearm which affected how much weights i can lift before it starts hurting but i am healing from it and slowly regaining the strength i once had.

Since i have to focus on my protein goals, i cook for myself a lot. People who’ve eaten my food ask me to do the cooking when they’re with me so i’d say i’m a decent cook.

My physical appearance is bear like ,right now. I’m 183cm(6’0 ft) and weigh 95 kgs almost and i am brown skinned.

I like stories as a pass time hobby and was obsessed with history for a while and now i read manhwas where the guy/ gal regresses into the past with their future knowledge intact and they’re fun, lol.

And stories where the guy/gal reincarnates into alternate worlds where there are different types of creatures, technology, rules etc where they will use their knowledge to make the whole world a better place.

I’ve been in 1 relationship in the past, they were my stalker, i met them on reddit, they’re getting married and so that relationship ended.

I’m an openminded guy, who doesn’t judge people and likes to hear their side of the story and would appreciate if you are the same and would like an empathetic person who doesn’t look down on people and treats people who are from lower class equally as well.

I am serious when it comes to tasks that i have to do but i’m the most unserious guy ever i’d say during conversations, i’d crack a joke in between when explaining a serious topic. and i’ve been told that i am quick witted.

I’ve been thinking of resigning from my org once i hit 2 years experience since my project is going into production support mode. I started applying today and i see less than 10 roles that are hiring software engineers.

Every careers page i visit, i see zero openings. Big companies as well, which used to have 100’s of openings before, barely have 10, that too only at manager level openings.

I used to get calls from naukri, those dried up in the last 2 months as well, i don’t see anyone posting interview experiences or career updates joining new companies.

Is your experience any different? Do i have tunnel vision?

I got assigned an internal project an year ago and they assigned me a senior to give me kt’s and my manager got rolled off to client projects and i was just doing my tasks as assigned by that senior, i was meanwhile requesting access to tools.

That senior told me whom i should reach out to and that we don’t have much tasks already. I got assigned another manager afterwards and that manager was so shocked that none of the team members knew i existed in the project except for my old manager and this senior, they thought i resigned as well and never reached out to me during those two months even though i was reaching out to my senior managers for accesses.

i later started getting assigned random log statements fixes and thats how it went on for a few months.

They tried to keep me busy with random things so they can show that tasks are assigned to me on the sprint board.

My manager told me recently that me taking leaves, i took 13 leaves for a 6 month duration, when i wasn’t assigned any tasks. that me taking leaves has put a target on my back and that i was saved during the last cycle itself from being piped.

i was thinking of asking for a roll off, 2 months after i started working in this project but i didn’t because i was told that ase’s can’t be rolled off and that might make them target me.

i am next in line for promotion because i will hit 2 years experience soon. my manger told me that i might get piped which could be because they don’t want to promote someone this cycle because they already promoted 2 people a few weeks ago.

I have already been thinking of resigning once i hit 2 years experience.

what would you guys recommend i do in this situation?

I am in an internal project that is in maintenance and i have to ask again and again to get random tasks assigned. I was assigned this project after being retrained and my manager told me that i am risk of being piped because of the leaves i took when i didn’t have tasks on my plate.

If i ask for a roll off, will that paint a target on my back ? Is my only option to resign the org if i wish to leave this project?

For me, it made me a lot boring than i was before, i can’t put in the energy into anything now. Conversations lo I’m unable to concentrate. I’ve ran into one last year when i was looking for friends but she kind of proposed a relationship and ran away immediately.

in october last year, a redditor dmed me, I guessed some things about her and discovered that she and i work for the same company. We met in the office and slowly became friends, kept meeting every week for a month. She wanted to move to my city so she can focus on fitness and there was a flat in my building, so she moved in there. Slowly we became more than friends.

My roommate caused rent issues and he moved out so she and i started living together and slowly fell in love with each other. She used to easily give up, spend money impulsively on restaurants and other things. She paid my personal trainer 20k rupees and gave up after 5 days because it was tough for her. Well, her work hours are from like 11 am to 10 pm. I can’t blame her for that. So, her parents weren’t confident she would get marriage matches because she is clinically obese.

I got a forearm tendon injury and couldn’t do most of the chores so we used to order food often because she didn’t have time and didn’t know how to.

Suddenly one day her parents got super confident because some relative of her got marriage matches and they started looking for matches for her, she went home for a day and she and everyone including me thought the guy wouldn’t like her and it is harmless. The opposite happened, the guy talked to her for 30 minutes and okayed her. The guy earns half a crore per annum, and it was his first match as well.

She wasn’t in a situation to tell her parents about us because

1. She is a brahmin and i’m another GC guy
2. My salary and her’s isn’t that good yet. The guy earns 10x my salary.
3. Her parents are kind of weak and would self harm themselves if she married me.
4. My family is in debts because of failed businesses, my father is recovering from a stroke.
5. She has a younger sister who’s life would become hell because their relatives will boycott them.

so, before this match she asked me 1-2 times that we will get a registrar marriage certificate so she can prevent marriage matches if a guy ends up accepting her.

Yeah, so once the guy’s parents also said okay and called her parents to know her opinion, she said yes because she was in a lot of pressure, not in a situation to say no because there wasn’t anything negative about him and her cousin saying no to one guy a few weeks before was scolded non stop and her phone checked and a lot of headaches.

After it happened, she said she wants to run away from home and asked me to do the same, but my parents are okay with her, but they aren’t mentally and physically in a situation to handle the aftermath if she runs away from home to me.

Once she came back from this, we had to vacate the room asap. I asked her to move out asap and that i will handle everything else but she wasn’t in a situation to move out. She needed the money for other things, so she started making my life hell.

They kept talking on phone infront of me.

They used to go on movie dates, sometimes i had to drop and pick her up from her “hostel” because she told she lives there.

The guy btw, asked her parents for permission from her father when she said she doesn’t want to go using the excuse that her father won’t agree.

I fastened up the process so she would stop crying and get this stress of myself as well. I vacated the room in 10 days.

She used to ask me once in a while that she will run away with her jewellery and come to me but i told her that her parents will never talk to her if she does and decide based on that. She used to chicken out every time.

after a few weeks she accepted her reality, said that she loves him now, because her parents are okay with him and that’s nice.

They bought a 2 crore worth home.

We still had an emi in common so we used to meet for lunch if we ever went to the office on the same day.

One morning i asked her if she is coming to the office and she was talking weird, i asked her what happened and she told me that he is with her and they had sex.

It was none of my business by then, they have been engaged for 3 weeks by then maybe.

We met in the office a month later for the last time, i had started doing food deliveries and rapidoing and medicine deliveries by then.
