AppleCareOne coverage keeps being denied

I bought apple care one on Monday and tried adding my MacBook and iPhone.
Originally, neither worked, both diagnostics were bad. Then I did a startup diagnostic and my MacBook was eventually added.

My iPhone 17 pro keeps getting an issue. It’s in perfect condition, but the self diagnostic says that there is a front camera sensor issue.
Apple has done remote diagnostics and confirms there is no issue, and so has an authorised service provider I went to who also sent me an email (which I then sent to Apple) confirming there is no diagnostic issue.

Despite this, they refuse to add my phone to AppleCare. Everyone keeps escalating and then telling me “we will contact you tomorrow” (they never do, so I have to call back and get a new support person).

I also asked today for them to just give me a repair option because clearly something is wrong if they refuse to add my phone to insurance and refuse to service my device because there is NOTHING WRONG!!

Wtf am I meant to do at this point??

My life is going in the perfect trajectory. I’m beginning to appreciate living.

I sucked throughout my first year of university, barely passed my classes, made barely any friends, and didn’t at all do enough. I thought I was too stupid, I thought I wasn’t good enough to be at a world class university. Since march, I’ve lost 10kg, finished first year with a high 2.1 average (67%, almost a first class in the UK!), met new people and put myself out there. I’ve began accepting myself and began loving who I am on the journey. My self esteem has gotten so much better, I can actually smile when I see myself in the mirror. I am imperfect, but I will grow. I’ve been making friends, I have been doing a summer school bioinformatics project for next year, and I actually feel good enough. I feel at home where I am.

How to decide if clinical science is for me?

I’m currently studying molecular genetics BSc, and I have two post graduate paths in mind: graduate entry medicine or the NHS STP.

I’m considering both, as both are things I would be really interested in pursuing, but I’m unsure which I’d prefer in the long run.
I’m aware NHS STP trainees get paid while training, which is a massive plus considering medical school would be another 4 years of more debt, and clinical bioinformatics and cancer genomics sounds really interesting to me too.
I am quite social, and ive been told I might prefer medicine as opposed to the STP in that case, but I’d love to get responses from clinical scientists and people on the STP.

What should I look out for to better help myself decide if I’d prefer the STP or GEMed?

Thank you! If appreciate some responses.

What breed is my cat?

My English vet told me he’s most likely a medium/long hair domestic, my Polish vet reckons he is sure he is at least part Maine coon. He’s a very large cat compared to all the village strays, (I’d reckon 1.5x their size) and a lot fluffier. He is also a bit overweight.

His temperament is very chill, but he is mindful of his own personal space. Though he loves belly rubs and is very affectionate in his own way, and loves to be pet and comes to you when he wants some love.

I’m really curious to find out what he actually is, I’d love any opinions!

How am I supposed to know if medicine is right for me?

I'm currently "pre-med", I'm doing a BSc Molecular Genetics degree, and I got interested in the idea of both clinical science and medicine during this academic year. I really enjoyed learning about anatomy, physiology and pharmacology throughout my first year.

The problem is I cannot decide between clinical science (via the scientist training programme) and graduate entry medicine. I love the idea of both, and I understand they both have their financial pros and cons.

I intend to begin volunteering in my second year in clinical settings to try and gauge what I'd prefer, but I'd love some advice from doctors or med students on this, and what I should know before picking either.

Thanks!

Czy jest możliwość wykonania studiów przyspieszonych w zakresie medycyny?

Jestem studentem Genetyki w WB/KCL.

I’m starting to hate my body more and more as I lose weight

I started out at M19 140kg/172cm. I’m currently 115kg, losing weight since march.

I’ve noticed my body getting smaller, my manboobs shrinking, etc. but I’m starting to dread it. Everytime I see myself in the mirror it looks like things are sagging more and more and I don’t know what to do to fix it. I want to look attractive at least once in my life and I’m starting to dread looking like a “flying squirrel” as my mates put it. I can live with some loose belly skin but the thing that I am dreading most is loose skin on my chest.

I don’t know what I should consider. I’m considering PEDs and gym to try and fill my figure in with muscle although I will know they will mess up my hormones in the long run. I can’t afford surgery and my parents can’t help. No one in my family has that kind of money. I also don’t think the NHS covers loose skin surgery because it’s cosmetic.

I’m genuinely dreading losing weight because of this. I’m starting to consider suicide and my mind is not in the right space because of this, please give me some advice for what I can do to fix this.

Where can I get testosterone in the EU

I’m currently in the process of losing a lot of weight. I started off at 140kg/172cm. I’m currently 115kg/172cm and soon I know I’m going to have a lot of loose skin. I know I can hide the loose skin around my navel area by just wearing something, but I’m having a real problem reconciling the loose skin from my gyno.

I want to start going to the gym and start PEDs to fill in my chest area as much as I can get rid of as much loose skin around there as possible.

I can’t afford surgery, and I refuse to live with the insane loose skin. Please direct me to any routes.

How do I drop all the entitlement I have in my life?

I was reading a bit about some people's mindsets and I realised I live a very entitled life, while I do have some achievements, great ones at that; like getting into one of the best universities globally, nothing felt earned. Everything either comes to me (I guess to an extent I am "gifted") or it took minimal effort, like most musical achievements I have earned.

I want to take control of my life and especially my health, but I am extremely passive towards it because it feels as if it will eventually happen just because good things keep happening to me right now.

How can I begin to fix this shitty mindset? I loathe the fact I have entitlement, I understand that nothing is owed to me but nothing in my life reflects that; I've never had to truly work for anything, it comes easy to me, except for taking care of my physical health.

I've had moderate success with losing weight (~10kg dropped in 4 months of somewhat consistent calorie deficit) but it doesn't feel like I'm being proactive enough.

I'd love the help. I need to change my ways, truly.

I'm M19 for context.

Jupiter JTS700Q or Yamaha YTS-280?

I've been playing on and off for about 2 years now, I've gotten pretty good at sight reading and at playing some more advanced pieces.
So far I've been using a star tone STS-75 that I bought from Thomann but it's getting quite bad, the pinkie table sometimes locks in and messes with my playing, and it came damaged, so I'd like to buy a new saxophone to improve my playing. I was considering buying 3.0 reeds and a better mouthpiece (currently on 2.5, made a stupid switch to 3.5 and now im going to 3.0 instead), and whilst the reeds are cheap enough, I cannot justify spending £100-180 ish on a mouthpiece for a saxophone that cost £400.

My budget, ideally would be no more than 1.2k
I understand both the jupiter and yamaha cost more than this, not to mention cleaning kits, etc, but I reckon if im buying something proper to last I won't have to upgrade in a long, long time, especially since I'm not some fanatic but more of a casual player.

If someone has any other ideas as to which saxes might be better for me, please leave suggestions. I want something that comes with a decent case and ideally is around 1000 GBP maximum

Passport now is valid for 5 years instead of until I turn 22, is this a good sign?

In November 2025 I applied to retain Swedish citizenship and my old passport (issued August 2025) was to expire on my 22nd birthday.

Today, I got my new passport and it expires in 5 years (2 years after I turn 22). I called MV and they said I still don’t have a decision on keeping my citizenship, so why did this happen? Is this a good sign that I’m likely to keep my citizenship or just an error with some system the embassy/MV has?

Gdzie mogę znaleść staże w karierach medycznych lub akademicznych w biologii?

Studiuję w WB teraz i właśnie skończyłem wszystkie moje egzaminy, to chciałbym teraz znaleść jakieś staże w laboratoriach w szpitalach lub uniwersytetach.

Where can I find internships/junior research positions in healthcare or laboratory fields?

I'm studying Molecular Genetics in the UK, but I'm interested in finding internships and junior research positions over the summer in laboratory hospitals or universities or any other private companies. I'm having trouble finding any, I've contacted a few hospitals near my grandparents' and mum's area but I either get left on read, or my mum follows up only for them to say they're not taking on anyone and there's no way to get into these roles.

I speak polish at a B2/C1 level, with the exception of specialist biological terminology, but I'd catch on easily because of the latin most scientists use for things. I also have citizenship, so this isn't because I cannot legally enter the country or work there.

Please, any ideas? I'm a first generation student so my family isn't really connected with healthcare or academia in Poland.

How likely am I to keep or lose my Swedish citizenship after applying for retention?

I’m a dual national (Polish & Swedish) citizen born in the UK. My father was born in Budapest but was naturalised in Sweden before having me.

I aquired polish by birth and Swedish by notification (genom anmälan)

I’m currently 18, about to turn 19 and I’ve applied to retain my Swedish citizenship in about November but this thing is practically eating me alive.

I consider myself an overseas swede & have fought to keep the culture & language in my life, I’ve taken language classes, speak to swedes, I just haven’t visited Sweden yet because I am estranged from my paternal family and thus never had a reason to visit as a child.

What are the chances I lose my citizenship from MV’s decision? I really want to keep my citizenship, especially because I do want to live in Sweden after I finish my medicine degree and work there.

How do I improve my competency and competitiveness as a junior researcher?

I am currently studying Molecular Genetics BSc at King's College London, and I'm looking to strengthen my CV for junior research internships. I'd love to make some extra money and gain some experience, especially so it reflects well when I apply for medical schools after my first degree.

My current focus is on finding ward volunteering (to better improve my chances of getting offers for post-graduate MBBS) and on learning the principles of python coding to gain some experience for bioinformatics, as I'm aware it's quite an important field when it comes to molecular biology & genetics research.

What else can I do to strengthen my CV for research internships? I want to gain more experience and learn more, and also earn some money while doing it.

Does anyone have resources for UG students looking to learn python for bioinformatics?

I'm looking for tutorials or courses where I can learn, as a complete beginner, the basics of bioinformatics and coding with python to compile data and analyse motifs and everything to do with molecular biology and genetics research.

If possible, I'd really appreciate something that goes from the simplest basics to the principles of bioinformatics and programming needed to be a bioscientist

What can I do to improve my competency as a junior researcher in molecular biology?

Currently studying Molecular Genetics BSc at KCL, about to go onto my 2nd year.

Today I got my first research fellowship rejection sadly, but my university runs these things yearly so I plan to apply at the end of 2nd year with a much stronger CV.

What can I do to improve and strengthen my CV?

I'm aware that bioinformatics is quite useful in molecular & genetics research, so I'm planning on starting to learn some python and eventually build up some good skills in that area for analysing motifs and stuff.

Apart from bioinformatics, what can I do?

My goal is to study medicine after my course, so I'm going to be volunteering in wards from 2nd & 3rd years around London, but I don't think this will aid my application into research internships for cancer biology and stuff.

I'd love to hear ideas, I've included my module selection for 2nd year studies, please critique it if you feel it isn't good for my career choice; but note that Human Genetics A & B, Molecular Bio Research Skills & Molecular Basis of Gene expression are all compulsory.

5BBB0226 Principles of Bioinformatics Semester 2
5BBB0238 Introduction to Programming for Bioscientists Semester 1
5BBBI203 Immunology Semester 1
5BBBMB28 Medical Microbiology Semester 2
5BBG0203 Human and Molecular Genetics A Semester 1
5BBG0204 Human and Molecular Genetics B Semester 2
5BBG0205 Molecular Basis of Gene Expression Semester 1
5BBG0206 Molecular Biology Research Skills Semester 2
