I really enjoy the older 1910 courthouse. And glad they preserved it when they built the modern facilities. Other counties would have destroyed

I plan to photograph all 254 County Courthouses of Texas. This is Aransas County. 6/254 and 5/254. Opened in January 2026. Being one of the Newest in the Country.

Their last one was demolished in 2018 after damage from Hurricane Harvey.

Milkyway rise over the beach

Milkyway a6300. Viltrox 9mm 2.8 & 25mm 1.7

Finally getting around to editing photos I took last weekend. Single shots, no stacking. 8 seconds at 1.7 on the 25mm and 13 seconds at 2.8 on the 9mm. 1600 ISO for all photos. Sony a6300.

Scenes with the beach are 9mm, photos with just the milkway are with the 25mm.
