How exactly does Costco Optical work when prescription changes within 90 days?
I recently had cataract surgery and I went less than the 90 days ago and got a pair of glasses after my first eye was done. Now that my right eye is done and healing, the prescription changed. How exactly does that work with the new prescription? Do they have to take my currently glasses to add the new lenses? Will they just put the new lenses in a new frame and I just give these back when the new ones are done? I just don't want to have to go 2 weeks without glasses.
I use them for Xbox Series X if that helps.
For beginners, the sound is so fidgety so I barely touch the wheels and I'm either going deaf or can't hear. I've tried messing around with the app to find a setting I like and there's really nothing special. The app support was one of my biggest selling points on them.
The most frustrating part is, more times than not, when I turn the headset on, it DOESNT CONNECT. I, almost every day, have to get up and go unplug the dongle and plug it back in for the headset to actually work. I never had that issue once in the years I used my Rig headset. I have no idea why it does that but it's annoying.
Has anyone else had this issue before? If so, what, if anything, fixed the problem?
I usually only get Pure Sport and on occasions Swagger because those are the ones that Costco sells and they're much cheaper than anywhere else. I recently won a target giftcard and they have a deal on Old Spice so I wanna treat myself (and I guess those around me too haha) and get some new scents.
What are your favorite scents either on yourself or others.
My family and my household have been optimum customers since 1978, 48 YEARS and the way we've been treated recently is despicable!
We had optimum fiber and were paying $120+/month for only internet. Meanwhile new customers can get the same internet for like half the price! Then during 4th of July weekend, we had a total of 26 hours of internet outage over 3 days which means nothing worked. Couldn't watch YTTV or anything without wifi so I contact them and ask if there's any kind of compensation and they had the audacity to offer $4.17. FOUR DOLLARS AND SEVENTEEN CENTS. That's an insult!
I contacted Verizon to see if their fiber was in my area yet and luckily it was so I got a price from them with added incentives and decided to contact optimum and give them the option to match or at least come close to that offer and after being on the chat for a couple hours the agent told me, almost verbatim, if I don't switch to optimum mobile my bill will stay exactly where it is. First off, you're not gonna pressure me into switching to your garbage mobile and that was the last thing I needed to make up my mind to switch to Verizon instead.
Then comes time to actually cancel my service which was a fkn nightmare. I had to jump through so many hoops and get a runaround while the whole time people trying their best to convince me to stay. Spoiler, if you want customers to stay, don't treat them like absolute shit! I had to call and speak to 4 different people just to cancel my service and then find out that, eventhough I was told differently by MULTIPLE other optimum employees, that my bill was NOT prorated meaning I have to pay for a full month eventhough I canceled my service and returned my equipment to the optimum store 7 days into the billing cycle!
Needless to say, I will NEVER recommend optimum to anyone for any service because they don't give a singular fuck about you or your loyalty. Verizon is better on literally every front. Their mobile is far superior, their internet if it's in your area is better and more reliable, and they have plenty of perks to get stuff like hulu or TYYV so there's zero need for optimum!
Sorry for the long post but I had to get this off my chest and warn others considering optimum.
And incase anyone's curious what Verizon is charging me for the same 1gb fiber internet-
●installation fee waived
●2 months free
●$200 amazon giftcard
●$59.99/month for 36 months
●$74.99/month for 24 months
●they gave me a $150 Verizon giftcard to offset the bill optimum is forcing me to pay for a service I don't have/use
●and a few hundred dollars in other perks/credits
I live in an area where we get all weather from hot sun, to heavy rain, to snow, to heavy winds so I need something that'll hold up to all that.
The cover size I need is 58x24x47
My NexGrill is on its last leg after lasting probably almost 10 years but when I looked up the same one to get a replacement it's $600+ and I don't remember paying that much and I don't have that kinda money right now. I'm selling my Pitboss Lexington smoker that I bought and never used and gonna use that money to get a new gas grill.
So I've never worn glasses before but I recently got my first prescription glasses. I'm still getting used to them so I don't wear them often but I did notice in my regular pair a spot that wouldn't clear up with any lens wipes or micro fiber cloth or anything. So i decided to wear my sunglasses a bit to get more used to glasses and noticed the same smudge in the same spot. Is that a flaw? And if so, what are the odds of that happening? It's very annoying and I would like to take them back but I'm not sure if it's a flaw or if it's supposed to be there...and if it is supposed to be there, what would be the reason?
Sorry for the long post.
