Liberator Assault Group 11th List
(I posted a battle report w/ this list in r/warhammercels)
I’ve found a ton of success with this list. LAG gets the take and hold disposition, so your main game plan is going to be controlling 4 objectives at once.
I brought a ton of invulnerable saves to make my stuff tanky enough to survive:
10 Assault Intercessors get 4++ from librarian
15 terminators to disperse as needed across central and side objectives
(I thought terminators were terrible in 10th, but cover changes and the coinciding objective changes make them suuuuper good IMO)
Liberator assault group is so goated in that it gives +2S and +1A, meaning that chainswords are now S6, and with a chaplain, can wound anything less than T12 on 4’s!!!!
Terminator’s Powerfists go to S10, so they can wound other terminators on 2’s, or if you spend CP for Lance, can wound most tank’s on 3’s!
This army is an absolute melee blender with tons of shooting to support it, with Two Redemptors and a Lancer, as well as storm bolter and Assault cannon shots from two terminators squads.
Have been loving this list so far!

Battle Report: Blood Angels (LAG) vs. Guard (GC)
Battle report
Sweeping Engagement Deployment
(Forgot to screenshot turns 1-2)
The first screen shot is at the bottom of turn 3, with the Blood Angels active.
Summary:
-Lancer shot Leman Russ off the board, heavily utilizing the built in re-rolls, Russ blows up and does SIX mortal wounds killing librarian.
-Terminators + Intercessors shot Tempestors off the board
-Terminators charged into rough riders, killing them
-Dante w/ Jump Intercessors Deep struck by the Hellhound (Hellhound couldn’t overwatch because it was engaged), and killed it using the lance stratagem
-Redemptor with one wound fell back, shot the kasrkin down to 2 men
-Jump intercessors on the right charged the Dorn alongside the Redemptor. Jump Intercessors did 5 MW on the charge, Chaplain spiked a 6 and did 3 additional. Mortals + Redemptor + Chaplain / Jump Intercessors attacks do an even 18 wounds and kill the Dorn which blows up and does 6 additional mortal wounds.
-Terminators on the right charge the chimera doing 8 damage.
Guard Turn 4
-Kasrkin disembark, and vaporize 9 jump intercessors alongside shooting from both Chimeras
-2 kasrkin and Cadian blob kills 7 jump Intercessors with shooting
-Gaunts ghosts kill 2 intercessors and fail to out OC
-Guard player resigns

On the Imperium vs. The Woke Left
**Part 1: Objective Good & Evil**
There is a tremendous amount of spite and criticism from the modern western left towards the aesthetics of the imperium in Warhammer 40,000. The issue for the left is that the enemies of a fascist imperium are ontologically evil. When the Imperium opposes objectively evil factions in order to preserve humanity the imperium becomes a force for good.
Leftists will decry the slogans of the Imperium regarding a closed mind and ignorance, but these very slogans are what keep the souls of imperial citizens safe from demonic corrupting forces.
Leftists will decry the Imperiums intolerance of Chaos worship (freedom of religion), and their intolerance of Xenos, but these attitudes are objectively what keep the imperium safe.
Everything the imperium represents, liberals despise. Namely, the principles of order, moral duty, religiosity, shared values, and an objective moral code.
**Part 2: Aesthetics & Morality**
The heroes of the imperium have all the traits and aesthetics of heroes from antiquity. Leftists are fighting an uphill battle against the aesthetics of heroism that is ingrained into every human being.
When a man witnesses a baroque depiction of a land-stand of an Astartes chapter, holding the line against hordes of disorder, (demons, aliens, heretics), this immediately conjures images of Achilles, of Teutonic Knights, of Merlin, of Excalibur.
These images are the prototype of what a hero is.
**Part 3: Cognitive Dissonance**
Leftists will seek to inject their own politics into the imperium to make it more palatable to their tastes. This includes but isn’t limited to:
-Portraying all (celibate) Sisters of Battle as Horny Sapphic Lovers in a massive polycule.
-Inventing fantasies of Heroes of the Imperium as homosexual lovers: Dantioch & Pollux, Greyfax and Celestine, etc.
-Obsessively painting their ideological iconography onto their models (political or sexual flags)
What the leftist fails to realize, is that according to their worldview, the imperium is objectively evil, and no amount of fan fiction will ever change the fact that it is a religious monarchy set against objectively evil factions which will always make it appear heroic and noble in nature.
Thus it is a massive disaster that Warhammer 40,000 is becoming more and more mainstream and why it becomes ever more important to capture control over the narrative of the setting, and make it less harsh against the principles of Leftism that Chaos represents.
