I tried to sample some freshwater pearls from this store last december, and the store owner asked me to contact them via whatsapp. Mind you, the insta shop seemed legit, with some customer reviews in their story highlights. So, I texted them there and paid ₹2000 for 2 strands of freshwater pearls via UPI.

But the store owner didn’t dispatch my order for a week, and when I asked for a refund he straight up blocked me.

I reported their instagram account, but it’s still up and running. They even post stories frequently. I’ve filed a cybercrime complaint as well, but they didn’t do anything about it. I contacted my bank asking them if they can revert the payment, turns out they can’t.

I’m wondering how this store is still up and running while instagram suspends legit accounts.

but it’s super hard finding the right audience 😭 guess i’ll be going broke with this hobby pretty soon
