Everything is fine until 323, then it's a complete mess until 378. It must have been a recent change, because it was fine until just recently.

This is infuriating. On Messenger.com or Facebook Chat Web, I used search in a specific chat convo for a keyword (eg: cabinet), and while it showed up in the results on the right, clicking on one to take me to that part of the convo, the message would not be there. However, doing the same search on the Messenger mobile app, it properly shows the message.

This makes no sense. On the Web one you can see the person's replies to it, and if I sent two messages at the same time for example, that first message might be there. But for like half of my search results, they're just not there, like they're invisible.

• I do most of my messaging on Web, so these were originally sent via Web
• These are messages that are within the last year or so
• Some have links and some are just regular text
• Using Privacy Center & viewing all logins, I logged off all sessions to eliminate any potential weird syncing issue with old logins
• Tried a different browser to confirm it wasn't somehow a problem related to that

Hello, I'm hoping a mod sees this and can check into if using the 'Message Mods' button is working correctly. I sent a question back on Jul 11 and didn't get a response back, and tried following up again on Jul 20 but also nothing yet. Thank you.

I'll often click the category someone is streaming to see what other people are as well (for example Red Dead Redemption II). I want to see them sorted by Viewers (High To Low). But for some reason even though I set that, if I close it and try the same thing in a different window, it's back to 'Recommended For You', and it's really annoying.

I swear it didn't use to do that and remembered what you set. What's going on?

I applied to Prolific late last year and in December I was off the waitlist and joined. Unfortunately due to family health situations I had to step away and wasn't able to start using it until now.

I logged in and see this message: We can't verify your account. We couldn’t verify your details, so we can’t provide you access to Prolific.

Clicking on Account I see the following: We're sorry, your account has been placed on hold. Unfortunately we were unable to confirm your details as you have failed an identity check.

However my phone, email, and residential address are all verified/confirmed. I don't understand what's going on. Not using VPN or anything weird.

(longer read out of requirement). I feel something needs to be said, because having been a member of this subreddit for a long time, it seems like it's quickly losing it's original intended purpose and quality control of what can be posted here.

This community was formed for those who have to take a stimulant medication out of necessity for medically valid & diagnosed conditions and have always done so legally and properly- but are experiencing both a noticeable reduction in effectiveness and range of issues/side effects because the stimulant medication class has been changed. These medical conditions consist of ADHD & comorbid AuADHD (primarily), narcolepsy & related wakefulness sleep disorders, fatigue related to serious medical illness, depression treatment augmentation, and brain injury rehabilitation.

It should be a place to hear/compare people's relevant stories, contribute information related to what's been going on, provide resources to learn more, and help getting the word out on how to take action to get actual change made. That's what this place SHOULD be.

However, within the past year as more people have come here, it's become progressively influxed with topics/discussions that have no place here, which include harmful/improper uses and activities of people:

• Not medically prescribed the drug, but getting/abusing it for party drugs or getting high.
• Taking WAY out of line amounts like triple the daily amount of using up a month's supply in less than a week.
• Suggesting/mixing all sorts of random shit with the meds which can cause all sorts of serious interactions or side effects.
• Supplying unfounded and scientifically false information or conspiracy theories.

All of this is actively hurting the validity and legitimacy of the community's purpose of advocacy, awareness and getting changes to occur to what's happening.

Right now if you have a medical professional, reporter, investigator, or someone in power come here to look into it more and see some of the stuff that's getting posted, I can absolutely see how this place would just get dismissed as a bunch of psuedo-nothing and people just wanting more meds.

The Mods need to refocus on the main goal and re-examine what's allowed here and relevant. I feel the team should be increased so there's more oversight and quality control, and the rules adjusted to better reflect the focus/goal of this reddit and what's not allowed. Tags should be added & required to help classify what kind of post is being made (eg: advice, personal experience, symptoms, research, information, effectiveness vent), but also to help keep things organized and make it easier when searching.

This place is critical in trying to bring awareness and change. Please don't let it go to ruin.

Running and logged in on the Kick app on my Fire TV and want to see my all my Followed streamers and watch some VODs. But there seems to be no regular Followed list, only the ones that are currently live. Which means if they aren't they don't show up, and you can't access their VODs. The only way I know is by manually searching someone's name one by one.

I have to be missing something, because that would be insane otherwise. You can view all your followed streamers and their VODs on Twitch.

For the native Mac Client, there are still no default built in playback keys set (Start = Enter, Play/Pause = Space, Next = Right Arrow, Previous = Left Arrow). Worse for some unknown reason, you can't set single key shortcuts, making that feature still basically worthless. Basic level feature functionality and parity of a music player would be hoped for with the Mac version.

This has been posted for over a year now on the Mac Foobar forums but unfortunately is seemingly not being seen by the Mac Devs, so posting here in the hope it will bring up visibility. 2.26 preview.

Was using Thunderbird and just download Betterbird to try again. Have everything set up, however I'm not getting any MacOS Notifications when a new email comes in. It's setup exactly like Thunderbird which does properly get notifications.

Note even Betterbird's own built in notifications window isn't working for a popup, though the sound file is.

EDIT: Issue solved. See my reply below. It's related to MacOS's Do Not Disturb.

My 2010 has been doing this where the top left of the first speed digit will go off and back on. Not consistent, and just happens at random sometimes while driving.

Is there any way of fixing this, or just the beginning of the indicators on my dash wearing out?

Look at this picture and tell me if this makes sense. It doesn't, and you're right. Whoever was the 'genius' that designed the Threads feature apparently never used an email program.

• The topmost 'main' message in a thread isn't the newest one, it's the oldest. How the hell does that make sense?
• Even if you condense the thread, it still shows the oldest one
• As a result, if you sort and look at the date column, it looks completely out of order. I thought it was a bug at first until I realized what was happening.
• Replies keep getting indented instead of staying at the same width, which makes long thread subjects impossible to see because they get cropped off and it's just a bunch of blank space.
• There's no option to change any of it.

As a result, it's completely worthless to use. None of this "well if you use a text editor to open up the layout css and find these lines, you can insert some code to kinda make it work, blah blah" no, no regular user is going to do this, nor shouldn't they. And no extension can properly correct this, as they shouldn't have to.

How could you botch this so badly? You literally just had to copy Outlook's conversations view, which is light years ahead of this and does it right. Whoever did this, you should be fired. I've used Thunderbird since it was part of Netscape Communicator, and it's stuff like this that drives me up a wall where it's clear there was zero user & QA testing when this was getting developed.

Where can a report be filed so this can get fixed and actually be useable by people?
