Did I get a steal on this Hgu-16A/p helmet? I got it for $10.00USD

It has the liner and chinstrap the earpieces, microphone, or visor though. Examples online usually don't have the liner, and the adjustment buckle on the chinstrap is stamped 00007.

Under the white paint there seems to be a camo.

This is my first time skeletonizing anything.. mourning gecko, check description

Last three images are how it originally looked when I found it.. here's how I did it:

I first started by rehydrating the tissue of the mummy, I soaked it in water for one day, the next day I cut it open and took it's organs out, scooped it's deflated eyeballs out as well, and proceeded to get it's brain from the eye sockets, I let it soak in water again, then I made an incision on its jaw, removed the tongue→then I cleaned out the remaining flesh and started peeling the skin starting from where I made the incision.. under all of that there was a yellow translucent tissue coating everything so I let it soak for another day... The next day I got tweezers and started pulling the yellow tissue off from in between the ribs towards the belly.. that was the only possible way to get the ribs since macerating just wasn't doing it.. some ribs snapped or fell off, but luckily mostly all of them are still there.. when taking the yellow tissue off the upper arms fell off so I skinned and skeletonized them.. soaked them in hydrogen peroxide.. Same for the rear legs, then I peeled the skin off the tail which was extremely easy... Then I put it all in hydrogen peroxide again to get rid of bacteria then I super glued it all together..

What are yalls thoughts? Is there anything I could have done better, and is this bad or good for a first timer?

This has been in the family for years after my 4th great grandfather(I think?) found this in a cave either here in texas or New Mexico from 1913-1918(?). All I know is it's said to be a dagger but I would like y'all's opinion, thank you

I heard he also found it by a bunch of other stuff but I didn't inherit those.

What snakes, or any other reptiles or amphibians can fit in an 18x18x24 exoterra enclosure??

Geckos are alright but I wouldn't like their tail to fall off while handling them. I think that poses a risk of infection but so far it's what I'm most likely to get.

I keep getting told this is a musket hammer or a broken frizzen in other subreddits, what is it actually?.. I'm leaning forward frizzen but what's all that extra stuff on it? What is the thing on the green square?(Last image)

I believe this could be a broken musket hammer where the arm that would hit the percussion cap snapped off... What is that tail in the green circle??? I found it just around fort concho on my property
