Should we separate Dating & Friends Megathread to each own thread?
Pros:
- Intention lebih clear di awal, lgsg tau dating intention or just friendship.
Harapannya bisa meminimalisir redditor yg hanya mencari teman tapi malah direachout oleh redditor yg beda ekspektasi.
- Imho, yg nyari dating or relationship dan yg nyari friendship ini personanya beda. Kalau di dating, konteks informasinya bisa jadi lebih serius. Sedangkan kalau friendship, I guess harusnya less friction & stress-free.
Cons:
- Jadi dua thread terpisah, beda dgn tradisi sebelumnya. Mungkin bisa terasa agak aneh untuk penghuni reddit lama.
- Mungkin salah satu thread bisa jadi jauh lebih rame daripada thread lainnya (but not sure if it's really a problem)

Has anyone ever successfully run an AI-native service company (one that sells the outcome, not the work)?
By "successful," I mean able to maintain high margins, like a software company.
Or are they mostly a gimmick, with margins that look more like a traditional service company's than a software or SaaS company's?
I'm currently quite skeptical of these kinds of startups. Also, as a customer, when I buy a service I much prefer dealing with a human being and seeing a face, rather than chatting with a chatbot.
I also don't see the moat. What happens if incumbent service companies simply start automating their own workflows?

Awalnya pengen beli Optimum Nutrition karena emang brand international. Tapi abis going down the rabbit hole, katanya formula yg sekarang udah berubah, ga pake Creapure lagi.
and then nemu Muscle First yg klaimnya katanya pake Creapure. Tapi ini brand indo & kalo gw cari di website creapurenya, gak ngelist brand ini. Jadi agak ragu , skeptis aja sama brand2 yg belom internasional.

And we need hosts to make it happen!
What you'll do:
- Host & lead IRL singles events — karaoke night, movie watching, board game night, or your own idea.
- You'll work closely with the mods and matchmaker, since these events might connect directly to our matchmaking program in "Event for Singles" series.
Compensation:
Yes, it's a paid role! 💰
We understand that hosting events takes effort, time, and commitment — so you'll be compensated for it. However, this isn't a salaried position — hosts are compensated through event fees paid by attendees of the events they run.
Requirements:
- Experienced in managing IRL events — you know how to scout venues, negotiate deals with them, and run things smoothly on the day.
- Preferably based in Jakarta, since our offline blind date matchmaking is currently running there too. In a different city? Apply anyway! If there's enough interest in your city so you can get compensated properly, we'll make it happen there too.
- Reliable and comfortable leading a fun, welcoming event
