I’m a bit confused about VGen… how long does it usually take and what’s the best method of doing it?

I’ve been trying to do art comms 4 a while and heard VGen was a good way to do it, so I made a acc and am now looking for a code… only thing is I keep seeing posts about people saying it took them months which is kind of scary to me (as someone who isn’t too consistent T ^ T )
I’m not sure what’s the easiest way to get a code, so I’m trying to post here for a bit of advice on that :)

i HATE spending a decent amount of time on an art piece, only to notice all the mistakes in the artwork and COMPLETELY HATE the art piece as soon as i finally FINISH.

I drew this like two days ago and thought it looked good… at first. Not even a day later, suddenly it looks HORRIBLE for NO reason. WHY IS HER HAIR AND HAND SO BIG COMPARED TO EVERYTHING ELSE? WHY IS THE FLOWER BUILT LIKE THAT? WHY DOES SHE LOOK SO OFF OUT OF NOWHERE 😭🙏🥀
and worse… i combine layers so there’s pretty much NO HOPE of fixing anything 😔💔

It goes from the most recent to the latest. I started trying to put (slightly) more effort into my art lately but I still don’t really see that much difference T ^ T
