I Think my Friend Might be Toxic :/ I'm not sure if I'm overreacting, or how I could unfriend her

My friend, A (not real name), is one I had for a few months. ~ A while ago, this other girl, S, was friends with me. S had some problems but there was something she loved deeply. A would lead her on at first, then ignore her or give her an extremely uninterested look when S got excited. Around that time, another conflict arose with her. To summarize, she stopped being friends with her in the end. ~ During that time, I realized she often lied about things and acted in a egotistical way. I still was friendly to her, as I didn't want to be rude, but it was somewhat of a red flag. Overtime, this feeling only increased. Whenever I said something about myself, she often felt the need to mention something she can do better. What she liked about herself would become a point or discussion or constantly brought up. She also would make passive-aggresive comments to those around her to make herself look better. A also has a history of casual ableism and racist comments that make me extremly uncomfortable T ^ T~ I admit I'm in the wrong for condoning this behavior, which is why I want to end it quicker. I wanted to ask to end it in text to avoid conflicts with other individuals around me, but I feel that's also rude to do :< I don't want to sound mean, and I also am unaware if I'm just overreacting. Does anyone have advice?
