ULPT: You can ask Google for information on any reddit user
Typing "u/(anyone) + "reddit" , and any other combination of word youre looking for like "profile overview" , "recent comments" , "affiliations" , etc. will give you quotes, links, and descriptions of whoever you've searched.
It works on users with their profiles hidden, because their posts and comments still exist on the rest of the site.
Try it out on yourself and see what comes up. Ask it to describe you based on your post and comment history. It provides an interesting objective perspective. It's like reddit wrapped, but it works better imo.
Of course Google and other AI have make mistakes. But changing the phrasing slightly and asking follow-up questions in AI Mode can improve results.
Other than self reflection, it's good for being nosey I guess? I just realized it worked awhile ago and wanted to tell somebody, but worried about the ethics of sharing this. Maybe it's obvious though? Either way, irrelevant in this sub.
Lmk what you think
Meta AI creator & content labels only apply to deepfakes. AI art seemingly unaffected.

I'm learning basic compsci in my free time. Thought about how the way the Death Note is used is similar to a programming language/abstraction. You have to follow specific rules, and different inputs lead to different outputs. Looked up to see if anyone has talked about this, and found this funny article from 2017.
Scientists develop wearable robotic system to restore hand function
news-medical.netWhat's up with that?
Recently online, I'm constantly seeing art being wrongly accused of being AI.
At the same time, I get random autonomous robotics vids on my feed, being wrongfully accusing them of being remote-operated.
So people think only robots can make art, and only humans can be robots? This seems like part of a bigger societal issue related to trust or critical thinking, idk. Just seemed funny
Nutella peanut is dairy free
Saw this in stores for the first time. Says it's plant-based on their site. I tried a spoon & it tasted like regular Nutella with a peanut after taste.

What's the definition of a cyberdeck? Has it changed overtime?
I was poking around the About sub to find some sort of megathread or faq section. The definition of VR devices in the subreddit is definitely not what people are calling cyberdecks now right?
Was this sub originally a different device culture, but it got changed in recent years with the growing trend of cyberdecks? Is this common knowledge?
Thanks
Irresistable Frozen Vegan Chili - Bowl melted
Just a warning to anyone else who thought to try this. I must've put it too high in the oven, but only by 25 degrees if so. This was only after 15min. The actual chili is still mostly frozen, but I dont think it's safe to eat.
Dissapointing, cause there's positive reviews online and it looks/smells so good. If I ever wanna try it again I'll put it in a pan.
I asked 3 different repair places to for a zflip 6 repair in Toronto. 1 Samsung certified repair shop, 1 actual Samsung repair centre, and the third party shop I bought the phone used from on sale abt 8 months ago.
I walked into the third party shop and the first thing he said was "those phones are garbage. You can buy a new one for the cost". He didnt remember me or selling it to me lmao. He called someone in a different language to get me quote of 495 for the parts.
The Samsung certified shop gave me the same advice, but more politely. They had a spreadsheet of prices and quoted 540 for the part. This is Canadian dollars.
The official Samsung repair centre was just a call to their store, same reaction. They couldn't give me a quote and told me to call some other company that supplies them for my area to get it.
The issue is my digitizer, they basically have to replace 90% of the phone so it would feel like new, but they'd also wipe the data. I can't access settings from the coverscreen to enable maintenance mode.
I dont have warranty on it so I'd just have to pay for it, which is acceptable, except I might as well get a new phone for the cost and trouble, because there's a chance it could happen again. I've had so many issues with lost packages in the past, so I'd like avoiding that too, let alone the time it takes vs buying a new phone.
I love the erganomics, creativity, and customization of the my flip but there's so many different phones out now. Reliability is important. I hate the waste of people, including myself, getting new devices every year. I thought I found my lifer phone with the zflip line, but the durability and overall value just isnt there yet for me.
Other phones:
I'm considering a Nothing or CMF. I dont know about reliability but I'm intrigued by their designs/fatures and I can get one for around the same price as the repair. I love the circle to search on android, but they'd seem to have a similar button for quick on screen tasks.
Motorola, pixels, iphones, are No-gos for various reasons. Same with fair phone and Chinese brands I'd probably have poor customer support even if I could get one in Canada.
I might just give up and get some random Samsung A series. The modern phone market seems so creatively dead and I'm worried it's just easier to except the slab life.
I expect flips/folds to become more common and popular over time, with repairs for them becoming cheaper and accesible too. But that's not the present day. What do yall think?
I also love the detail of Stan waking up in a dark room, which looks nicely lit and makes sense. It makes it seem like he was sleeping with the lights on in past themesongs now lol.
Hailey's peace sign sticker having a pride rainbow is a smart way to modernize it too.
S22 E6 The Treasure of Old Chinatown, 2026
This is for the dadders and cosplayers. Love a lore drop & this episode, so I'm gonna yap.
So happy to see Mama and Baba back and doing just fine. They made some worrying jokes about them in the last few season about their absence.
This was a very Franny centric episode, with Stan dipping early on saying, "see you next week" lol.
We learn that she was trained by Baba from childhood to be a treasure hunter. So she's basically India Jones, which explains A LOT ngl. She's been shown many times to be physically strong and resourceful, despite her obvious idiotic traits. Of course she felt confident doing so much crazy partying in her 20s when she knew krav maga.
Francine is the original "with Chinese characteristics", with it being a unique character trait that pops up in many creative ways. I love those storylines. I have family of different ethnicities myself and think the show does a good job at portraying what it's like at times.
The only thing that couldve made this episode better were if Mama was there too, she strangely disappears, and if Steve and Baba did a duet. His song was cool though.
Edit: Francine spoke-sang one line of a song about the treasure. I was disappointed we didnt get the full thing with her and Baba singing it as the swuash their beef, and Steve modernizes it by joining in with his go-to contemporary rnb.
