PS4 Pro 10.71 with Vue After Free crashes after shutdown or restart

The database needs to be rebuilt each time. A restart attempt will end up powering off the machine.

I've removed all apps except for FPKGi and disabled GoldHEN from starting from rest mode.

Do I need to factory reset and start over or is my hard drive damaged?

Can anyone recommend a Google/Android TV Channel aggregate app for Plex Continue Watching?

Even better if it also works in Projectivy Launcher. I tried the built-in Plex Channel but it doesn't update play progress in Plex. This is an important feature for my mom, who has memory issues.

Watching content from the Plex Channel doesn't updated the watch status.

It doesn't change the play timeline progress or mark as watched if you watch the title fully.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known bug? My mom is getting up in age and she forgets which app and what content she left off on. I just ordered her a Google TV to replace her Roku as i thought Projectivy Channels would be an ideal solution.

Seems to only be a Plex problem; I'm not noticing it with SmartTube or HBO.

Or are there other Launchers that don't have this issue?

Just had a random flashback to Slurpee collector discs | 7-Eleven Slurpee Baseball Coins: The Definitive Guide

I didn't collect sports cards, but I distinctly remember being excited to pull whatever disc was at the bottom of my cup.

Question for PC gamers, because driving on the gravel/dirt roads are so dependant on pressure sensitive throttle controls, how does that work on a PC?

The cars handle like crap on dirt roads unless you ease on the gas, especially in FC3/4. How is that accomplished on the PC?

Rewatching Van Sant's 'To Die For' and saw a familiar face

I've watched this a dozen times, but for some reason, I ignored this NW easter egg for a film set in New Hampshire. Maybe my ad blindness is too strong. What is your favorite Gus Van Sant movie?

Elderly mother having trouble with the new Plex UI (Roku)

My mother struggles with technology. She was able to use Plex relatively well on her own right up until Plex updated the Roku TV client to the new universal interface.

Do we know if Android is next for the redesign?

I liked Roku for the intuitive and customizable dashboard for displaying the apps+inputs, now I'm thinking of getting her an Android OS TV and installing a custom launcher. Adding a new streaming device would be too confusing for her, it would have to be a TV swap out. I'm just worried about going through the trouble and teaching her a new system only for the Plex client to get worse again.

Do you still rewatch your favorite movies?

Before streaming, I would tap into my physical library constantly and rewatch movies over and over. Now, with the amount of content made today (10x shows, 2x movies compared to the 90s) I feel overwhelmed. Almost as if I was wasting time if I rewatched content.

I would say I was more bored as a kid, back then I didn't read or game as much as I do now. And honestly, cable television was mostly garbage. Rewatching movies seemed to fill the boredom.

I miss those days but have a hard time pushing myself to go back. Does anyone else feel this way? Sundays we clean house, that is the only time I make a point to put on a comedy classic and get to work.

SmartTube Next volume is twice as loud as other apps (Netflix, HBO, Plex)

This has been discussed in the SmartTube sub without any solutions.

The Shield is connected to a Samsung TV with an ARC HDMI to Samsung soundbar.

The show 'Deli Boys' season 2 not showing up. Season 1 added just fine last year

I've tried the IMDB ID in the main folder name and removing/re-adding the files.

When did PiHole block lists get so good at blocking Pandora?

The last couple of years I've been trying to emulate Pandora/Sirius' background music with Plexamp for our morning/night routines and running into too much friction. It feels so good to have curated playlists again.

OPDS is setup with Calibre-Web on my Kindle KOreader. How do I setup auto-sync book titles to the device?

Can it use the shelf setting "Sync this shelf with Kobo device" or other options? I'm ok if the entire library contents are synchronized. By shelf is just a bonus.

Or do I just download the books by hand?
